With coaching changes, I will never blame a player for looking
in the portal. Kaler played his butt off this year and if he can
get a FBS opportunity, he should take it. This may be a
multiyear rebuild.

I'm not surprised, but I thought it'd be a bit different
considering that whoever we get would likely be an improvement
over the last 2 years of Priore, and it never felt like the
players had much allegiance to him to begin with.

If its possible for a new coach to rebuild the program while
Heilbron is still here their going to have a problem recruiting
with no NIL money and these facilities. Whoever comes in does so
with one hand already tied behind their back with this ad and
their bad fund raising.

Well this has so far has been debunked.
[/quote] Yes. The standard operating procedure now is to get a
new coach in as soon as possible to stop the bleeding (signups
for the portal and that definitely includes the schollie kids )
and get on top of the commits . DEC 4 comes VERY quickly.

Time will tell how many scholarship players enter the portal
before the new coach is hired. Also remember if the new coach is
well respected by his current players will any of them follow
him here. The first NSD is mid December so it’s important hire
someone sooner rather then later because hopefully he can flip
some commitments to SBU

The problem with this program didn't go away with NO PRESSURE
CHUCKS removal. The problems are much deeper than that. You
have trainers that have NO clue how to weight train or condition
players, eg. They hurt McKee's shoulder as soon as he arrived
because they had him doing squats and presses designed for OL
not for a QB. You have Hatch who is TERRIBLE and does nothing
but lie to recruits to get them to commit and over recruits
positions and not what they are in need of (take a look at there
O line.) This place needs Hillary Clinton in here to wipe clean(
we know she's good at that lol)
