And I'm sure he will be the first of many who transfer. Walk-ons
never get a chance unless there are injuries and some of them
are probably more talented than what's on the field in certain
positions.

I know for a fact that after every Spring Season SBU gives
scholarships to deserving PWO’s. As an example I know Melendez
starting OL out of Sachem North received his earlier this year.
Also a perfect example of walking on here and getting a
scholarship is Ross Tallerico so they do play walk ons

They gave Ross Tallerico last season. Melendez received his
when? Who this past spring?? PWO's are running away from this
program and if they stay in my opinion they are only cheating
themselves waiting for the carrot that most likely isn't ever
coming

The best decision any player can make is to walk away from SB
fast if they can play elsewhere even at a lower level. The coach
burned the qbs season last year because he wanted to try to win
one game in a losing season. What does that tell you? Desperate
and they always say bad things about players who leave but its a
reflection on the coaches that they ruined so many highly touted
kids once they get here.

He (Priore) did it again today against UNH. They just burned the
freshman offensive tackle (I believe that's his position) for a
complete loss of a game again. LOL

A player can play 4 games without losing the year so if you’re
talking about Charles Allen I don’t believe he’s played in more
than 4 games

He has played in 4 games. So if he steps on the field again, his
redshirt is gone, just like McKee last year. Guess developing
other players isn't an option, especially with an 0-7 record.

If he plays in the last 3 games he will finish up with 7 games
and I don’t have a problem with that. If a freshman gets to play
regularly there’s nothing wrong with that however with McKee he
played him only 5 games and burnt his redshirt year and didn’t
play him again which I didn’t like

One other thing about the Transfer Portal and this is for the
parents before your son tells SBU he’s leaving make sure you
have a plan because not all your college credits are
transferable and are you going to leave a bad situation and go
somewhere else and it’s no better than where you are now.
