When is enough ENOUGH???

When is it going to come to a point where enough is enough?? The
loses are mounting, moral is tanking and the raises and
extensions just keep coming. This ENTIRE coaching staff has no
care for this program, it's very apparent. Hatch is the most
arrogant of them all. Players are going to be FLOODING the
portal to get away from this school that has NO care for their
future. They all feel and know they made a huge mistake by
coming here. This school is literally the poster child of a
socialist society. The athletic website is so outdated. The
energy is so depleted it's a vacuum at this point. So when is
enough, enough???

your right. but no one cares since theres no real fan base and
no real media coverage so they know they can get away with it.
How does Newsday not write an entire story about sneaky contract
extensions for a losing coach? No one cares so it happens.
contact the presidents office and tell her how you feel and why
you cant give support to a program where no one seems to care
about results on the field. We are the laughing stock of college
football not just the CAA. 10 years ago the program had
excitement with what was going on now look at it the past six
years. and it doesnt matter because SH and the coach have two
years left.

Well Newsday has no credit as a worthy paper. There's tons of
misspelled words and the grammar is something else altogether
lol. They are part of the LI/NY problem/ swamp. I personally
witnessed them interview a person on the street and edited the
video to make this person sound like a complete bigot all for
ratings. They will do the same for Stonycrook. There just has to
be a way to save this program and get these clowns packing. The
ones REALLY losing are the Athletes, that's what has to be
remembered here.

Improving academically though. Pretty much top 5 college or Uni
in NY (not including West Point). So there’s that.
Here is a telling question to measure Heilbron’s performance.
Has any team or sport at SB improved during his tenure? I can’t
think of one. How many have declined? BB, FB, baseball.

But that is exactly it. All they care about is academics. Now
I'm not saying that's not important, but it would be nice if
such a successful academic university can have as much emphasis
on their Athletic's. Look how quick it was for the liberal
President to post a notice about the recent academic recognition
and I've yet to see her say ANYTHING in regards to any of their
sports teams. I could be wrong but silence speaks volumes.

I recall someone here saying that the president is upset with
athletics but is waiting until after she did some academic
improvements first to focus on them. We just had our big
academic achievement with the US News movement, so time's
ticking Maurie. We can get Jim Simons to give us $500 million
but not an extra small donation to get rid of Heilbron and
Priore?

Well, yeah. Academics is the central objective of any Uni. I
think Stony Brook is the best academic school in them CAA, on
par with or better than W&M.
My point was that Heilbron has simply failed by any standard.
SB is not better in any sport, since he became AD. Why did
Fiore succeeed where Heilbron failed?

Its been enough for a long time. It just seems like the U has no
interest in improving the quality of athletics. Its a freaking
shame.
A USNWR Top 58 National University and the State Flagship cannot
figure out how to field a decent enough program to win at the
CAA level

this point. The infection is too deep and they all need to be
cut out. The problem is who comes in and has the ability to hit
the ground running with their own team. I'm talking all position
coaches and trainers.
