playing a lot of different faces early and its working. SB up
at halftime 6-4 hosting drexel, in a critical game.
big half for wilk and lowd. faceoffs competitive too.
also good plays for dupuis, dougherty, and a newcomer to the
       scene- danowski.

we played really, really well, near-mistake-free lacrosse. win
13-8 against drexel and move up to fifth place (note 3 plays 4
       next week).
our defense doesnt really do well off-ball (slide rotate
recover), that's not new, but we have veterans out there.
nevertheless, we've held drexel to a relatively low goal total
(and even last game against towson), so directionally, that's
       great news.
so how'd we win? wilk. and drexel just didnt take care of the
ball today. and we capitalized. we picked off at least 3-4
       passes today- that's unusual.
our team was in a funk. so shuffling in different players today
was exactly what we needed- a shot in the arm- good on the
coaching staff. barker, birney, carlo, danowski, kraemer in
       particular.
wilk, pallo, esposito, dupuis were all great today. lowd but he
always is. dougherty more of the same in the second. esposito
won many draws and created a lot of breaks. we hit at least 3
posts; they dont count but it shows we are getting good shots
       off.
keep in mind- we have real injuries- filardi, desano, behlen-
that's three starters. hopefully peaking in the next month, at
       the right time. GO SB

I called the game, of course, and agree on all points,
particularly the new faces and lack of mistakes.
I often say you need to make hay while the sun shines, in this
case, win the games you're supposed to win, taking some pressure
off in games that might be harder to win, like Delaware.
I believe, however, that the Seawolves need to win out to lock
down a playoff spot beyond any reasonable doubt. Splitting
against Towson and Delaware is not bad, but you've already lost
to Towson. It makes Delaware a must-win. Good thing they need to
play each other and somebody has to lose.
Play like this, though and your chances get dramatically better.
I could see them take on Hofstra in the same situation they were
last year. Win and you're in, lose and you're out.

at first place (RV) delaware. defense doing ok despite the
score, taking away angles and forced two clock violations
       already. faceoff woes continue.
offense a little out of rhythm. extremely early slides to
       pallo.
       end of Q1, 5-1 hens.

       end of half. 9-1 delaware.
more of the same. nothing going right for SB. game appears
over in the beginning of the second.

       end of 3, delaware 14-5.
faceoffs a bit more even now.

mclachlan in. we are starting to look alive in the 4th, after
down 10 goals. some transition, some settled, etc. creating
       lots of opportunities.
15-12 delaware with 5 min left.
