An 0-3 start would be very bad for the team morale. the team
doesnt have the talent to come back from that and they dont have
coaches who can help them come back from that. if the players
start quitting this early in the season it will be bad.

They play FBS Arkansas State next weekend who hasn't scored a
point yet this season. They got shutout 73-0 by OU and are
trailing to 0-17 at Memphis as I type this. If we had a
competent program I'd give us a chance here, but we're gonna get
rolled. They're abysmal, but we're even worse.
I'd take the 0-11 if it meant getting Coach P out, but they'll
never do that. SH doesn't have it in him.

SH brought this on. Arkansas State is going to want to feast on
someone for a win. There gonna be hungry.

Seriously, you have NO idea what you are talking about. This
team DOES have the talent, it just just doesn't have the
guidance. priore has NO idea how to fire them up to win. His
half time speeches are depressing and non motivational. The team
returns to the field for the second half with less spirit than
it did in the first. Stop blaming the players.

I blame SH and the coach not the players. I know what im talking
about. Assessing talent level isnt blaming the players. they
wouldn't be at sb if they had better options. losing seasons
like five in a row have consequenses when recruiting.

To discuss the season and the games with any intelligence you
have to discuss player performance. It’s obvious that it’s
ultimately up to the coaches but if a QB or any other player
performs poorly, OF COURSE it’s a topic for discussion.

Because of my website and I help Section 8 Section 11 and the
CHSFL I see all the players and there are roughly a dozen
players from the 2024 Class that can play FBS/FCS Football of
which half have already committed, having said that SBU will
       bring in around 4.
Once they get here they have to be developed however Coach P
wants to win now so he went out and brought in 17 FCS transfers
and so now they have to mesh the returning players, HS recruits
and the transfers so my guess it could be week 6 before this
team hits their stride or longer.
I know a lot of you are frustrated with the way the team is
playing and so am I but when the new OC arrived I didn’t expect
immediate results, yeah maybe the QB is not the right one so
maybe this 2024 they will sign a scholarship player. As far as
the rest of the offense you have a lot of new faces so as I said
above if takes time. As far as the defense goes in 2022 you had
Coach Noel who was let go then Coach Collins put in a new
package however his sudden passing caused Coach Hachman to
implement a new defense July 28 so again the team had another
defense so again I’m not surprised by their shortcomings so far
Finally I know we’ve all grown tired of rebuilding but again I
do think it will get better but only time will tell

Very insightful. I hope you're right, but it's difficult to have
any level of optimism as long as Priore (and I guess SH) are
       running things.

Been following from London/Paris the past couple of weeks. Got
back home and find my team 0-2.
The only bright side so far is the 11,000 attendance in game 1.
That is outstanding. I'll be attending the Sept 23 game... lets
       see the turnout levels

There was a good crowd but there were not 11000 people there.
Probably closer to 7000 which is still pretty good. that will
change just like it does every year.
