That would be a massive get if we can land him. He has a ton of
       offers already.

So as of Friday Jack Melore of Smithtown West had only one PWO
offer and that was Marist well since then he got 3 more SBU,
Fordham and Monmouth he’s at the point now that he might
       actually get some money.

Actually I called his coach last night and he has a very high
GPA so he gets a lot of money for his grades however even
without getting a scholarship if he chose SBU he would only have
to pay for Room & Board plus Books. I would love to get this kid
because he’s a great person and a very good athlete and with the
right coach in my opinion would definitely become a scholarship
       player

I love your enthusiasm for the program and it must be tough to
maintain that position based on recent years. But any player
that comes here as a PWO when they can walk on at any school,
they really are cheating themselves. Full scholarship players
ran from this train wreck of a program. If Cosh keeps ONE person
from the staff then it will very get a fresh start. The only
people who should be around Cosh is the janitor to show him the
       light switches

A train without an engineer and a train with Helibron at the
controls both will result in a train wreck.
Is a real shame that the president is such a liberal only
concerned with the agenda of the State. She should be relieved
immediately based on her failure as a president to ensure the
Athletics dept is ran competently. Hate to make it political,
but at the end of the day that's what is running SBU. As said
before by many, the inside deals and extensions need to be
investigated for proper procedure and legality because that is
why this program is in the state it's in

Maybe now some hard-nosed liberals on this forum will finally
wake up and realize what I have been saying all along. This
President only cares about programs that are liberal,
woke-related. Should SBU be focused primarily on academics,
absolutely, and of course, but don't claim to be a D1 school if
sports is always put on the back burner Sports should be just as
important as every other subject, topic, and administration in
this university. But it isn't. This liberal President was hired
because of her liberal policies, nothing else. A perfect fit for
       this Hochul run NYS.
