Suffolk County DIII is the strongest of all the Conferences on
LI except for the CHSFL and Regis dominated every game on both
sides of the line. I could see him playing NG as he’s so quick
off the snap that it’s hard to block him and that makes him an
excellent run stopper as well as getting to the QB. With the
defense so bad last year I would not be surprised if he gets to
play as a true freshman.

Please keep in mind that he is twice the size of many, if not
all, the linemen (offense and defense) in high school. At the
FCS level, he will be undersized. So, despite his accolades,
it's a new world in college. I hope he starts and has immediate
success, but it's a tall order for someone who is 18 years old.

Believe it or not there are a lot of players on LI that weigh
over 250 pounds but he is so strong and quick that makes him
special
As far as being 18 well I see true freshmen start at Power 5
schools all the time

With about 3 weeks to go before the next NSD SBU has a total of
3 commitments so far however they have two huge groups of
players coming on campus shortly and they feel pretty good that
they will get many more commitments from these two groups of
players.

Unfortunately because they took so long to hire a new HC
recruiting suffered so far however all the assistants are on
road right now recruiting so hopefully they can get even more
talent to come on campus

Does anyone know how many scholarships the coaching staff is
trying to fill? I thought it would be 20+ but looking at the
2024 roster that's posted today, it looks like much of the team
from last year is returning including many of the players who
considered transferring.

Heilbron ran the football program in to the ground and its going
to be a long time before there's a lot of success. If you look
at this roster and the schedule they can hope to win one or two
games this year and i hope im wrong.
