on Twitter that it could happen. Former 4 star but only played
in 2 games for Kansas last year in garbage minutes

This is the tweet mentioned above. Sadly, blue check marks mean
shit these days, so we can't be sure if it's a troll or not, but
I'd be willing to bet everything that it's a complete joke. Does
anyone remember when Emoni Bates entered the portal after one
year at Memphis, and Jeff Goodman tweeted Geno Ford was offering
Bates? Thought it was hysterical but also a total gag. The
account that tweeted the news about Cuffe may have a couple of
thousand followers, but the tweet has ONE like. If there were
any truth to it, respected and well-known professionals would
       have shared the same information.

i think SB did offer him a few years back out of HS, but that
could just be that he was "local" (meaning, harlem).
always have to wonder if they mean st. bon's, of course, they do
call out Ford. but consistent with the above, you never really
       can trust this source.

Can't see it really, but we'd be in play if he's considering any
of the schools mentioned by Zagoria. But still can't see it
given where we are on the totem pole and what our roster looks
like with senior guards. I don't think we offer the prestige or
minutes that some programs can, at least this year.

Surprised at that list of schools that did reach out.. was
thinking he would at least hear from some bigger names than
       that.

We’re not in play for any halfway good players because we can’t
pay them like Charleston and others.

if you think sb can get halfway good players when other schools
in the conference have money to pay those players and sb doesnt.
there is no other reason to go to sb. the world has changed and
       sb hasnt.

Is there an NIL fund? And if one is created I think use it for
basketball as opposed to football. A robust NIL fund gives
boosters more power and beats just letting the AD spend our
       money.

"Is there a NIL fund?" Just like coaches and ad contracts its a
       mystery i guess. Embarasing.

It’s a valid point. Particularly with players moving down from
power conferences, to go from thousands a year through NIL to,
I’m guessing, very little if anything here, would be tough I
have to think. We have seen instances of it in the portal – did
Fitz get paid at Stanford? – but more often than not we’ll lose
any tiebreaker. But the better players from lesser programs
without a strong NIL presence (i.e. Clarke, Snoddy, Maidoh)
might seize this opportunity. Win some games, win over some
       fans, maybe build something.

You would have to think TSM is getting paid..??? Otherwise I
feel he would have totally entered the transfer portal
