Romain Bruwier from Belgium. Looks solid on the surface but
mixtapes can be deceiving.
Initial post updated. Roster complete.

I like what we did this offseason ...
Pettway, Roberts, Policelli, Sarvan out
Space, Snoddy, Maidoh, Bruwier in
Policelli is obviously a blow in a few ways, but we strengthened
our depth up front. I do wonder if, with the logjam we have in
the backcourt, whether the intention will be to redshirt Space.
This is without having seen him play, but if he's where TO was
at this time last year, I could see it, especially as a smaller
guard and with TO really having come along. How's that sit with
players now though?
To start the year, I'd guess that Noll, Clarke, TSM, Snoddy and
Fitz start. Just a guess. Or do Clarke/Noll overlap and instead
you have Clarke as the PG of the second unit and Philip's out
there first? However it plays out, I like that we're going to
have guys battling for minutes.

Yes, definitely an upgrade over last year. Unless we hit the
injury bug again, it's going to be a battle for minutes, and
there may be some unhappy guys. But, in this crazy new world of
college athletics, you really can't plan for more than the
current year ahead. So, Geno has to play his best team, and
worry about '24-'25 after this upcoming year completes.

I’m sure it’s nothing but I wonder why they deleted the tweeted
and Instagram post of Bruwier signing

No, it's something. They took off the announcement on the SBU
Bball website as well. I guess he changed his mind. Looks like
Checkmate needs to edit again.....

Really like this Ra’Sean Frederick signing on the surface. At
least per 247Sports, he was a three star out of high school. We
had some pretty one-dimensional players on the roster last year,
and even that single dimension was questionable IMO. I like that
this kid’s an athlete who can put it on the floor, welcomes
contact, and appears to have a nice touch around the rim. The
three ball percentage was not good last year, but it was solid
before that. Either way, I like that he’s at least a modest
threat.
Initial post updated. I listed him as a forward because I saw
enough back to the basket stuff to be designated as such. Good
offseason.

Also received an offer from Mercer, just a week ago. No
acknowledgement from SBU on this as of yet; maybe they're gun
shy on announcing after the most recent fiasco, where the kid
backed out.

Encouraging that he just wasn't NCAA eligible, instead of us
messing up the acquisition somehow
