It should come to no surprise to anyone that URANUS scored the
most goals and let in the least. Clear favorites to take home
       this years SPACE CUP.
KKK losing to a 3 man Night Hawks team was a real shocker.
Props to NH, KKK needs to get their shit together.
Tulsa v Texas no comments. Congrats to Texas.

As expected, Uranus performs the best. This should come to no
surprise. We are simply the most shredded and skilled team. I
feel that we have performed our duties as the best, and hope
that every other team can follow our path of winning. With that
said, I look forward to playing against the Night Hawks Friday.
Hopefully They will be more of a challenge for my team. As a
great team, we always need some healthy competition to stay on
top. My team and I know it's tough work to stay at the top of
the mountain. Some say once you're at the top of the mountain,
there is no where to go but down. I would like to disagree with
that statement. I feel Uranus, has no where to go but up. This
means heading off into space while every other team continues
climbing the mountain. The Asstronuts are trailblazers. Every
other team look up to us as the best. I would like to say thank
you, other teams of SBLH. I would also like to say good game to
the Apollo 13s. I would like to see you guys fix the problems
within the team so we can face you again, but while you can be
fully prepared as Uranus was. It was great to see some flaws you
exploited in us. But that will only make us stronger, faster,
and smarter. We will adapt and continue to get better. Expect
more of Uranus in our next meeting on the field, Apollo.
The Season Opener for the SBLH was a success. I look forward to
a great season of fun, fair, and competitive Spacebounce.

       Jesus bro I'm crying ^^^
"Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing.
You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in
a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit.
       Unfortunately, so is losing.
There is no room for second place. There is only one place in my
game, and that's first place. I have finished second [b]NO TIMES
in my time at URANUS, and I don't ever want to finish second
again. There is a second place bowl game, but it is a game for
losers played by losers. It is and always has been an American
zeal to be first in anything we do, and to win, and to win, and
       to win.
Every time a HAXBALL player goes to play his trade he's got to
play from the ground up — from the soles of his feet right up to
his head. Every inch of him has to play. Some guys play with
their heads. That's O.K. You've got to be smart to be number one
in any business. But more importantly, you've got to play with
your heart, with every fiber of your body. If you're lucky
enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he's
never going to come off the field second.
Running a HAXBALL team is no different than running any other
kind of organization — an army, a political party or a business.
The principles are the same. The object is to win — to beat the
other guy. Maybe that sounds hard or cruel. I don't think it is.
It is a reality of life that men are competitive and the most
competitive games draw the most competitive men. That's why they
are there — to compete. To know the rules and objectives when
they get in the game. The object is to win fairly, squarely, by
the rules — but to win.
And in truth, I've never known a man worth his salt who in the
long run, deep down in his heart, didn't appreciate the grind,
the discipline. There is something in good men that really
yearns for discipline and the harsh reality of head to head
       combat.
I don't say these things because I believe in the "brute" nature
of man or that men must be brutalized to be combative. I believe
in God, and I believe in human decency. But I firmly believe
that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that
he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out
in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle —
       victorious."

Congratulations on your great game, Uranus! It was
well-played and I enjoyed watching the replay. I came to this
thread to see what other teams had to say about these results
and I was not disappointed. Shot had a lot to say and used his
words like an ice skater carving his name into the ice. Tip's
words were even more majestic, but also more familiar. A quick
Google search revealed that those words were taken from a great
coach: Vince Lombardi. Coach Lombardi was a very successful
coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960's. I do not mind
if words are "borrowed", but I mind if credit is not given.
Especially to such an amazing person as Vince Lombardi. I am,
once again, baffled at this act of plagiarism. I believe very
similar incidents happened recently and cannot understand why
this has come up again. This would never occur in the Khicago
Kamera Klub, so why is this such an issue inside the successful
team of the Uranus Asstronauts? In the future, please remember
to give credit where it is due.
Here is where you can read the original speech titled, What It
       Takes to be Number One:

Tip has clearly modified the quote for his own use, so that
