What is the point in waiting 24 hours just curious? the #1 team
on waivers didnt want him and #2 does so why not just make him
apollo?

Perhaps because we just had the draft and the league hasn't
started, do a supplemental draft for these free agents (at least
until the season starts). I always viewed waivers as being for
players who were "signed", but were released/waived and could be
claimed. But whatevs.
