The Sapphire System - A cluster of 3 planets and a single gas
giant in the unclaimed lands between Vesk and Pact controlled
spaces.
Sapphire I is home to the largest cluster of settlements in the
system. It is where the Marquis of Queensbury, the current
‘ruler’ of the system, has his headquarters and is home to any
number of outlaws and anyone seeking to remain unknown or
hidden.
The Palace is the name of the massive biodome that surrounds the
‘capital’ of Sapphire I. It is a series of localized weather
terraforming spires that blunt the worst of the wind, but do
nothing to raise the sub freezing temperatures.
There is no love for any type of legal authority here, bounty
hunter or otherwise. The Marquis makes it his business to ensure
that his patrons can expect a certain degree of freedom, so long
as they pay his taxes, and follow his rules.
The planet is an ice planet, completely covered in near
permanent blizzards, reducing land visibility to near zero. The
only way a ship can land safety is to contact the ground and get
clearance at the spaceport, and pay the corresponding fees. The
temp outside is below freezing, which causes problems for
typical biological life forms. This can be mitigated with
correct clothing.
Sapphire II is mostly barren but is home to some people who
really want to stay gone. They live in whatever they can create,
devoid of any outside support. There are small abandoned mining
facilities around from when they first landed, but those dried
up in a small number of years.
Sapphire III is devoid of anything of value save ice and rock.
If anyone lives here, no one knows about them. Few attempts were
made at colonizing, but each failed as the conditions were too
harsh.
Sapphire IV is a blue gas giant with aided in the naming of the
system. Fortunately the gasses within are not in a combination
worth mining or syphoning off. It is passable by starship,
though the density of the gas makes visibility nearly zero and
the constant radiation makes computer reading unreliable.

Lync System - 3 Planets and a massive shipyard. Manufacturing
System that makes lots of different goods, but mostly
non-military stuff, outside of the shipyard.
The Abadarcorp Shipyard is off limits to outsiders.
Lync IV - Capital of the system. Home to the government and most
of the corporate headquarters. Founded by Abadarcorp and still
holds ties to them. They are still mostly loyal to the Pact
Worlds, and have filed for protectorate status numerous times in
the past.

Toral System - 2 Planets - No further information at this time.
edit - Recent exploration has uncovered that this system hosts
two planetoids. Both are barely covered in atmosphere and look
more like earth's moon than anything else, full of impact
craters and tunnels. One of the planets is home to a few mostly
abandoned mining bunkers, that seem to be home to raiders. In
the center of one planet live a group of sentient spider-like
creatures, human in size, but covered in layers of chiton like
armor. A life science check revealed they are not of the prime
material plane.

Besemere System - The whole system is protected under the UP3 by
the Xenowardens.
6 Planets are all under the oversight of the Xenowardens under
the UP3, the Underdeveloped Planet Preservation Pact, which
prohibits interaction and influencing planets before they reach
a certain technology level. The Xenowardens enforce this system
of laws, often very aggressively, against all infringement,
often with a ‘Shoot First’ type of mentality.
There are small outposts on some planets and orbiting ships used
to sent down teams to study wildlife and plants on worlds with
no sentient species.

Alpha Bizanti System - 9 Planets
Most systems are Agri worlds that sell most of their food off
world, with Alpha 4 being the largest and the unofficial central
hub of the system. 3 dead planets, Alpha 1-3, due to failed
terraforming attempts.

Remidian Beta System - 5 Planets
3 of the 5 planets are marked as commercial hunting preserves
owned by the Aspis Consortium. The Consortium often buys the
rights to planets freshly released from UP3 protection, ones
without an sentient species, but with marketable wildlife
suitable for trophy hunting.

Pi Algirae System - 4 Planets and as asteroid belt
Mining System that sends most of their ore to the Lync System
for production. There are any number of small mining companies,
most made of a single or a pair of ships, working various
sections. Each is fiercely territorial over their claims, but
are more than willing to hire additional hands for mining or
transportation.

Orionis - Just one massive star in the middle of the system. It
appears that some time ago, the star expanded/exploded and
destroyed whatever planets may have been in this system. The
system is littered with debris, making flying thru it a risk for
any but the largest ships.
