Halan accepts the link because Hexor's behaviour is so odd he
wants to be ready for anything he missed but Hexor didn't.
(If it comes with an Intelligence save, he decides not to pass
but still connect. This is way out of his depth.)

In a very out of character display of trust, the contact
requires no save. Whether this due to his sudden trust in Halan,
or because he decided to conserve his powers for some larger
conflict in the near future, you cannot be sure.
Which option is more cause for concern - a sudden change in
Hexor, in the light of Gemflower's sudden change, or Hexor being
concerned enough regarding Tamlan that he chooses to override
his nature - is for everyone to decide themselves.

Kiran offers a hand for Mara to take and get up, if she wants
to, and then he goes to stand next to Hexor.
Do we have a plan for dealing with otherworldly entities? Some
that torture people to madness, for example? he sends down the

Halan, still staring at Tamlan expecting an answer to his
question asks the Hivemind: What did I miss? Why are we
attacking him now? And are we sure that all our hearts would be
in that fight or would we just fall apart? Plus... he managed to
stop my spell and charmed me instead, I agree that something
strange is afoot but I don't know if that is a fight we want to
get into right here and right now.

I started suspecting him...it? the minute I snapped out of his
charm. I am not against a fight, I am advising caution. He adds
