The Fates

While the group of you rest outside the large central building,
preparing yourselves for the battle you're sure awaits you,
Hexor notices the bag of holding start to move. He gestures to
Kiran to watch and sets the bag on the ground, carefully opening
it. Before he can do much more than pull the flap back, a hand
appears from the black depths, knocking the bag on its side so
the figure can grasp at the ground to pull itself out. Gemflower
emerges from the bag of holding, looking slightly pale, and
clutching the Deck of Many Things.

Hexor will reach down and help him up.
"You my friend, have the luck beyond measure. How did you . . .
?" say asks, letting the question hang unfinished, but staring
at the Deck in Gemflowers hands.

Kiran steps closer, looking wary. "Apologies for the repeat,
Gemflower, but... yes, how are you alive right now? And also, is
it really you?"

Halan casts Hypnotic Pattern on Gemflower as he exits the bag,
trying to tie him up with anything that's handy and and gag him
even if Tali or sb else protests saying that if there was no way
back we need to be careful.

As Halan casts his spell, everyone watches as the colors twist
around Gemflower, like they're avoiding him, and Gemflower's
form begins to sparkle just a bit. Halan, once wary, now feels
like this is absolutely Gemflower and he should be trusted.

Gemflower clambers to his feet out of the bag and dusts himself
off.
“Not even dead for 5 minutes and you stick me in a bag? I’m a
little disappointed in the lack of fanfare!”
He sees Halan beginning to cast a spell at him and smiles. He
opens his arms towards Halan and simply says “You need a hug!”

“Oh just your average clash of titanic forces. Caught me off
gaurd. Hence the whole... dying... thing.”
He closes his eyes, runs his hands through his hair and takes a
deep breath. “But I prevailed! Oh and how good it is to be able
to hear myself think again!”

Hexor narrows his eyes, and attempts to establish a telepathic
link with Gemflower.
He holds out his hand toward Gemflower - "My cards back if you
don't mind."
