While Halan has his 7 minutes in heaven and Hexor watches his
fiance slowly slipping into madness, Gemflower will be enjoying
the company of (Lelair?) on the couch. Fatigued from the fight
he nestles next to her, yawns, stretches his arms, then comes to
rest with one of his arms around her shoulders. He smiles at her
and for a moment his eyes and teeth almost seem to sparkle, as
though he were in a Dentine Ice commercial. With his free hand
he produces a small Onyx carved spider and presents it to her.

Laelaer lifts a single sculpted eyebrow at Gemflower, and her
smile that was mostly just amused has taken on an edge of
fondness, though it's barely noticeable. She transfers her wine
glass from one hand to the other and plucks the onyx spider from
his hand, turning it over slowly as she inspects it.
"An acceptable gift," she says, setting it gently on a side
table and taking another sip of her wine. "Was there something
you needed?"

Still smiling, Gemflower closes his eyes and happily shakes his
head, as if to say "No".
Looking her over, he notices her leg propped up and his face
grows concerned. He leans forward and tries to examine her leg
to see if she is still hurt.

Laelaer glances from Gemflower's study of her leg to Hexor,
quirking an amused eyebrow, then back to Gemflower.
"Leave it be, your potion was sufficient," she said
dismissively, finishing the last of her wine and reaching for
the bottle to top off.

everything. Not near Halan as he is in a different room, but you
can certainly see Gemflower and all his going-ons.*
