On day two Hexor will ask Gemflower for some assistance, since
he seems to have a flair for fashion and the high life, on
ensuring anyone who chooses to attend the meeting at the Palace
is appropriately attired. If they wish to attend as guests of
mine, then my only request is that they wear the House colors,
which are red, black, and purple. He will hand Gemflower a ream
of papers, each with some semi-detailed sketches of outfits and
styles that are appropriate for a delegation of a noble House of
the drow to wear in a public event. He also drops a small purse
(200g) with it, “For costs”.
Drow fashion are dark colors, very well made and cut. With lots
of skin showing. Bare chest/abs on the males, long skirts with
high slits and deep v necks and bare shoulders on the females.
Once that is done, he will go find a tailor himself to see if he
can get a few new suits made, something to reflect his new
station.
He also needs to find a jeweler about the city as well. Someone
who specializes in rings and earrings.

For Gemflower, if you continue with your original plan of riding
through the streets, naked, on a unicorn, you'll be stopped the
first time and asked not to do that. The Guard will let you off
with a warning, but you are told if it happens again you'll be
arrested.
It will take a day to track down a tailor willing to create
garments based on the designs given who is also willing to work
on such short notice. I'll get the price as soon as I can, but
everyone who wishes to attend will have the correct attire in
time for the meeting with the Prince.
Hexor, depending on what kind of specialty suit(s) you want
made, you may have to look around a bit, also because of the
short notice. As for jewelry, there are several jewelers,
ranging in average to great quality, which would you like to go
to?
Mara, if there's anything special you'd like to do while out
shopping with our mystery lady, let me know. Or any places you'd
like to visit.
Same with Halan. If you want to try and follow them, keep an eye
on things, ask around for stuff.
Anything and everything is open for you, just like in a regular
session. Let me know what you're up to.

What am I, a peasant? High quality of course.
I will need 2 jewelers, each for different jobs. They should
both be good quality, as befitting a noble, but not one of those
gaudy places that serves the ‘bling’ nobles. There is not a rush
on these orders, I will not have the materials in for about a
week so that gives them some time to clear up orders and then
begin on mine. I will need one order done in around 3 months
time and the other before the end of the year.
I will need a total of 3 outfits made, and I can spread it
around to different shops if needed. I only need 1 outfit
finished by weeks end, the other two can come later.
I also need to go to the Temple area and hire a priest/lawyer
from the god/dess of law (not sure in this pantheon) to serve
with me for the near future. One that specializes in contracts,
both governmental and merchant. They should also be present
during the meeting with the Prince, I would prefer if they were
in full clerical attire, but that is up to them. I will need
their services for I assume around a fortnight, maybe longer
depending on how well they preform. I also would like to inquire
about putting them on retainer, permanently.

At a random point in everyone's day (except Hexor) Gemflower
will hastily appear from around a corner and, without any
explanation, begin taking their measurements with a long piece
of twine he found.

Kiran, knowing what "fashion" can look like, is going to
accompany Hexor, just to make sure we don't all end up half
naked.
Then, depending on whether Mara can be found after the shopping
trip with her friend, he's gonna ask her if she'd mind going
into Melora's temple with him. "Because I haven't exactly dealt
with the gods, apart from the occasional nod to Avandra back
home, of course. And I'm just a little nervous."

Yeah you know Halan will want to follow, ideally from within
earshot. I want to know more about how they know each other and
am hoping to get a hint as to what our mystery guest is doing
here.
Also, if Gemflower tries to measure me with a twine without
telling me why on some later date, if it is in some private
location, I will most definitely cast Hypnotic Pattern at him
and tie him up with the twine. If he or Hexor explain to me they
need measurements for the clothes, I will write them down for
them.

Hexor, you get the work slotted at two different jewelers who
are known for there excellent quality that cater to people's
specific needs. As you're looking around for a tailor, you come
across a small shop, a little out of the way at the far end of
the merchant district, that has very well-made clothing on
display in its single window. Upon entering the shop, samples of
the tailor's work can be seen around the edges of the small
room, leaving the center open for a step-stool and small table
covered in various items. Upon closer inspection, some clothing
in the corner seems to be in the Drow style, though slightly
more on the modest end.
Some rustling is heard from the back room and Hexor and Kiran
see a dark face poke through the curtains with long white hair
pulled back in braids that are twisted around themselves in an
elaborate style with a few strands curling loose from their
temples. When red eyes catch Hexor's, the figure smirks and
steps fully through the curtain, red dress swirling about her
legs as she makes her way around the counter to them. The dress
is of the more modest Drow style, though not nearly as dark as
is traditional.
"Well, it's not very often I see a specimen such as yourself
enter my establishment," she says, gaze moving pointedly in
Kiran's direction. "What type of garments are you gentlemen
after today?"

Halan, after about an hour or so of following the two around,
the woman glances subtly in your direction, twitches an eyebrow
in an amused fashion, but says nothing and seems to go back to
talking with Mara without missing a beat. So far, the two of
them have been moving between stalls, sometimes stepping into a
shop, and the woman looks like she's purchasing objects at
random.

Halan - Hexor explained to everyone on the way here, and again
after he made the appointment, about everyone needing new
clothes if they wish to be part of the party present during the
event.
Kiran - Half naked? Give Hexor more credit than that. It is too
cold on the surface for that kind of thing. 1/4 naked, 1/3 naked
tops. The day you spent with Hexor shopping you notice that the
clothing he has designed is no more revealing that what you have
seen others wear in the southern land, or during the hottest
times of the year.
Short coats, open in the front showing bare chests for the men,
with long pants, near skintight but allowing for maximum range
of movement, soft soled low rise shoes.
Ladies have a choice of baggy pants and a form fitting short
tube-like top (think Jasmine from Aladdin.) or a long dress
with a slit from ankle to mid-thigh, with a deep V-neck.
All clothes are done in deep colors of black with red and/or
purple highlighting. If there is to be metals, they most likely
will be done in silvers or chromes, the better to stand out
against the typically dark skin of the folk this style was
created for.
Of course for you military types (looking at you Mara) if you
would rather come in full armor kit, that is also acceptable,
assuming it is hyper cleaned and you are willing to pair it with
a cloak of the House colors and heraldry.
Whoever is coming Hexor would like to know ahead of time if you
would like to be presented as part of his House's party, or if
you simply want to come stand with the common folk to watch. If
you are coming as the general population, then you need not do
anything special as you will have no effect on the process, but
if you are coming as part of the House then Hexor will spend
some time during the week walking you through what is and is not
acceptable in the presence of Royalty and how one should act
around them.

In the shop
Hexor will give the tailor a once over, seeing if she has any
House markings or if he can recognize anything in the style to
give me some indication of how long she has been on the surface.
Hexor will dip his head in a nod of acknowledgement toward her,
resting his arms in front of him, fingers interlaced, giving him
the air of nobility or authority.
Hexor will say in High Drow,
[Spoiler=High Drow]
“Greetings Mistress. I am prince Hexor’andian of House Ati’cus,
10th House of Nar Sha’had,” [/spoiler]
After a moment he will add, with a smirk to match hers,
[Spoiler=High Drow]“Formerly of course,”[/spoiler]
Glancing over at Kiran he switches back to the common tongue.
“I am in need of suitable attire for an upcoming event,” Hexor
states, his eyes never leaving hers. “Something befitting a
prince, for a meeting with the Prince. However the surface
folk’s clothing styles are so . . . modest. I had feared I would
need to oversee their creation personally. So it is fortunate I
discovered this place, yes?”
He finally turns his head to take in the shop and its various
styles and offerings, before looking back at her, leaning a bit
toward he with an intense gaze, unconsciously slipping back into
the tongue of their homeland.
[Spoiler=High Drow]“Are you able to serve?”[/Spoiler] There is
something about the way he places the emphasis on the final word
that makes it have more weight than a casual eavesdropper would
gather.

Kiran will sketch a quick bow to the shop owner, and since he
doesn't exactly... speak High Drow, he is going to keep back a
little, letting them talk it out.
When Hexor switches back to Common, he speaks up. "Keep in mind
that some of us would prefer not to stand out too much in the
presence of whatever nobility we may meet." He shoots Hexor a
look. "You know the others, and you know me. Let's try not to be
overly flashy."
