from an old D&D forum, that you can fill out if you want. The

ohh here we go, mes amis. Kiran's been ready for ages
1) What gender are you?
"I'm a man, despite some people presuming otherwise."

"...twenty-four."
3) What is your profession?
"currently working for the friend of a friend. a hireling, so to
speak."

"oh my gods, do I. yes, a few."

"I'm not that tall, 5'5", got brown hair and grey eyes."
6) Do you have any distinguishing marks?
"if by 'mark' you mean a gift, then yes. otherwise I'd have to
get my clothes off."
7) Are you a virgin?
"ha! oh no, not for a long time."
8 ) Have you killed anyone?
"I... I suppose that's what you'd call it. yes, yes I did, but I
didn't enjoy it."
9) Do you hate anyone?
"apart from myself? there's no such person."
10) Do you have any secrets?
"a few."
11) What is your favorite season, and why?
"I've always liked spring, when the nature starts waking up."
12) Who is your best friend(s)?
"there is one who fits the description, I suppose. she's a
healer and she is rather brilliant."
13) What are your hobbies?
"shooting a bow, when it doesn't have to be for food. but I'm
kind of rubbish at it. and horse-riding, always liked that."
14) What is your favorite drink?
"water's good, but nice wine isn't bad either."
15) When is your birthday?
"end of the year, almost midwinter."
16) What age did you die?
"I haven't died yet, please."
17) Are you nice or mean?
"depending on the situation. I prefer to be nice, though."

"I don't know who that is, but they didn't do a half-bad job of
it. I think."

"my feelings. and I'm not being facetious."

"awake or unconscious?"

"get up, do work that needs to be done, go for a drink, get to
bed. currently I'm even getting paid to do the work."

"I do."

"including Common? three."
25.) Who are your closest friends/allies?
"I don't have many at the moment, but the head of the Dragon
Hunter's Guild is definitely an ally. a friend, maybe? other
than her, there's a drow whose sister's soul is stuck in an
astral plane and whose pastime seemed to include getting carved
up by her (a hobby I can understand); a very strong and
hot-headed woman with a disregard for her safety, willing to be
friends with everyone; a bard who seems to have too many
secrets, but who am I to pry, I just wish he'd trust us a bit
more; lately a very peculiar fellow with rainbow hair, a ferret
familiar, and odd customs. apparently he's a wizard. and
finally, a gnome with a skull face decoration, whose only goal
seems to be to make friends. I kind of wish I could be more
suspicious of that."

"there are gods, otherwise how did I not die on that shipwreck?
I don't pray much, though, I just... sometimes. to Melora."

"oh yes. quite afraid."
28.) What's your family or relatives like?
"my sister is a very good person, my father is kind in his own
way, but I never knew my mother. and my brother is one of the
best men I have ever met."

"I'm male, although I don't always fully understand the need for
that distinction."
2) What is your age?
"Upwards of twenty, but who can ever be sure."
3) What is your profession?
"I'm apparently working for a drow noble now. At least that's
what I've gathered from that situation in that cellar. We also
work for the Dragon Hunters' Guild. But I'm mostly a
freelancer."
4) Do you have any bad habits?
"God forbid."
5) How tall are you? Hair color? Eyes?
"I'm 5'7''. My hair is brown and so are the eyes, but those are
a bit darker."
6) Do you have any distinguishing marks?
"Because I want to stand out of the crowd so much? No, I try to
get rid of those."
7) Are you a virgin?
"I don't see how that is relevant to anything. But yes, I
suppose I am."
8 ) Have you killed anyone?
"I do what I have to to survive."
9) Do you hate anyone?
"Don't you?"
10) Do you have any secrets?
"Me? Secrets? Of course not, I'm an open book."
11) What is your favorite season, and why?
"Any holiday. People tend to drop their guard around strangers,
carry more gold with them, and are more inclined to random acts
of kindness."
12) Who is your best friend(s)?
"Halan."
13) What are your hobbies?
"Feeding and enriching the poor from the pockets of the very
rich. I am quite poor after all."
14) What is your favorite drink?
"Water. I don't drink alcohol, it has bad effects on me."
15) When is your birthday?
"If I ever find out, I'll let you know."
16) What age did you die?
"Eight. If I was ever even born."
17) Are you nice or mean?
"I guess those terms are relative. In comparison to some I'm
very mean. Upon meeting certain people and then me, you might
consider me the nicest person in the world. Really, no telling
in advance."
18)What do you think of your creator?
"Whichever one of them it was has probably abandoned the work
halfway through. They can choke."
19) What is your weakness?
"I guess I'm too much of a perfectionist."
20) How long can you stay under water?
"Until I have to come up for breath I suppose?"
21.) What do you do on a regular day basis?
"Used to be trying to find enough money for food and shelter for
the foreseeable future. Now... I don't even know."
22.) Do you love someone?
"Love? Love is an indulgence. It's buying into a lie. A lie that
people tell each other so they can feel better about themselves.
I mean, people murder each other for 'love'. They lie and cheat
and maim and steal and sell each other out because of 'love'.
They turn their backs on everybody else and excuse it with love.
They tie themselves down to a place and to a person for 'love'
but then they find out that they were wrong and they feel
miserable instead and others must suffer for it. Love isn't
lasting. Love isn't universal. Love isn't something that you can
see or hear or smell or taste or touch. It's nothing and in time
it turns back into nothing and all that is left is resentment
and loathing and pain. Love isn't worth it. It would only cause
more problems and pain to me and everyone around me. So, no. No,
I don't.”

"Three."

"My allies? Let's see.
A masochistic drow who has recently hired me and the others to
help get his sister out of some Astral Purgatory after she tried
mental jousting with a powerful being from that plane.
A be-drow-thed half-elf with self-loathing issues and an
insatiable libido.
A human deserter with a deathwish and a proclivity to adopt
anything bipedal with a heartbeat.
A rainbow-coloured human whose likewise coloured ferret has a
higher social intelligence than he does.
And a gnome who apparently only wants to find new friends and
kill more creatures to wear their skulls as decorations. And I'm
not sure those two are mutually exclusive."

"Sometimes I pray to Avandra. It seems appropriate somehow."
27.) Are you afraid of anything?
"The truth. Whatever it is. That's why it's best to avoid it at
all cost."

"Not worth the words. Except maybe one but... who knows."

"Whatever pays, although I have an affinity for sword-swinging."

"Is there any other kind?"

"My tattoo is the biggest, a sleeve of ravens in flight on my
left arm. Beyond that, there's a small scar running through my
right eyebrow from a brawl."

"Oh, that's cute."
8 ) Have you killed anyone?
"Plenty. It hasn't always been the right call."
9) Do you hate anyone?
"I don't hate any specific person. I hate certain values, and
certain beliefs, and their hold over certain people."
10) Do you have any secrets?
"I can't imagine there's anyone without a handful."
11) What is your favorite season, and why?
"Winter. Everything is beautiful in the snow. Besides, I hate
heat."
12) Who is your best friend(s)?
"He knows, and I know. He deserves better."
13) What are your hobbies?
"Fighting, drinking, and fucking. Not necessarily in that order.
I've also been known to pen the odd limerick."
14) What is your favorite drink?
"Dark ale."
15) When is your birthday?
"Winter solstice. Apparently I've been dramatic since birth."

"I'll let you know."
17) Are you nice or mean?
"I can be both in full measure."
18)What do you think of your creator?
"Honestly? I haven't thought much about it."
19) What is your weakness?
"I have plenty. Not a very good strategy to just blab them to
you."
20) How long can you stay under water?
"Long enough? It really hasn't come up since I was a child."
21.) What do you do on a regular day basis?
"I am very much a fan of as little routine as possible. Only
guarantee is a workout and meals."
22.) Do you love someone?
"Yes. But there's more to consider than that."
23.) Does that person love you back?
"Yes. But there's more to consider than that."
24.) How many languages do you speak?
"Three, as of quite recently. I've been picking up some new
tricks."
25.) Who are your closest friends/allies?
"Some people from home are dear to me, and I quite like the
group I seem to have fallen into now. They are all very capable
people but I feel very strongly they need protection. I'd take
an arrow for each of them. I try to."
26.) Religion?
"I worship the Raven Queen, and make no secret of it. I think I
was always meant to serve death. Now I'm just doing it the right
way."
27.) Are you afraid of anything?
"Me? I'm terrified."
28.) What's your family or relatives like?
"Their lives are smaller than me, but they're better than I
deserve."

[size=10pt]An Interview with Talishale Turen Deathmaker.
(This character is made in homage to my beloved Teyla the
Flamibulous. She is a much less eccentric version though. This
may surprise you but Talishale is much much more normal than
Teyla. Teyla was a Blue Goblin Alchemist who pretended to be an
elf. She had four arms, a tumor familiar(yes a large tumor on
her back that was her familiar), and she wore a straw wig. She
was arrested on a regular basis for falling asleep in random
places and drinking too much. AND she could basically turn into
the Hulk. Good times. They need to make an alchemist is 5e.
haha)
*notates when she is speaking a little quieter, as if to
herself.*
1) What gender are you?
Talishale: You cannot tell? *Huh.* *I thought that sold it.*
*Maybe a pretty dress?* *No?* *Really?* Clearly, I am a fancy
well mannered lady.
2) What is your age?
Talishale: You never ask a lady that! *Didn't I just say I was a
fancy lady?* *Human thing.* I am a vibrant young lady of a
respectable age. *old enough to be wise but not too old like
those wrinkly humans* *30? That seems so very young.* *Silly
humans* I am a 30 year old lady of vibrant youth and uncanny
wisdom. Final answer.
3) What is your profession?
Talishale: I am an uh {nods} unemployed… *Am not!*
4) Do you have any bad habits?
Talishale: All of my habits are great habits. *No that is the
best habit.* I have been broken of most of these so called bad
habits, now that I have friends. {rolls eyes} Friend. *So far..*
5) How tall are you? Hair color? Eyes?
Talishale: I am 4 feet and 2 inches. *but I was told humans like
to round up a few inches* *okay fine* I am 4 feet. My hair is a
soft beautiful golden like an average human. *but that's no fun*
As you can see my hair is a wild mess of vibrant green with a
mind of it's own. {rolls eyes} EYES!! My eyes are a vibrant
green that match my hair, but if you look closely there is a
yellow ring at the center. *Was that too much?* *Should I add
that?* *That's what I thought!*
6) Do you have any distinguishing marks?
Talishale: Oh gosh, where to start? {laughs to self} My arms are
covered in several burn marks. *I know!* I have a lot of
tattoos. {She pulls a string and her linen wrap falls to the
ground. You can see that her entire body is covered in green
arching lines. Across her back large red Dragon tattoo, flames
are bursting from it's mouth that flicker up her neck. The tail
wraps around her torso and across her hips.} {Her eyes get big
and she quickly grabs up the linen wrap and ties it back on} *I
didn't realize that would be inappropriate.* *Maybe you should
have said something sooner!* I also clearly wear very amazing
accessories. {Half of a wolf skull sits atop her head and covers
half her face in a mask. She has a cat skull around her neck
with bone fingers being added after each battle. She has several
face piercings; her eye brows, nose, ears, and lip. Her arms and
legs are wrapped in hide gauntlets that are decorated in a ton
of odd jewelry. Across her shoulders is a woven pauldron of
grass, lined in animal fur. Her entire appearance is very
'distinguishing'}

Talishale: {stares blankly}
8 ) Have you killed anyone?
Talishale: Like murder? No. *That wasn't killing.* *It's called
protecting* Does protecting others count as killing? If so, then
yes I have. I stopped counting at- *They didn't?* I guess you
weren't asking for numbers. *that doesn't count either* Does it
count if they tried to kill me first? Or accidents? *okay fine*
I will settle with "sort of" as my answer. *satisfied?*
9) Do you hate anyone?
Talishale: No way!! *oh yeah* Yes!! I hate everyone in that
village. *Okay maybe not him.* *Or her.* *Or him.* *Definitely
him* Yes!! I hate almost everyone in that village. I also hate
the dwarf that killed my pet rat. But we settled that. *Should I
show them?*{she eagerly pulls out an oddly well preserved
severed hand from her bag. The fingers are covered in odd rings}
He helped me create new way to store all my rings! {smiles
proudly}
10) Do you have any secrets?
Talishale: Oh yes! I know lots of secrets! My secrets have
secrets! I even have secrets from myself! But mostly I have
other peoples secrets. *I know* {rolls eyes} I do not keep
secrets from my friends, I keep them for my friends.
11) What is your favorite season, and why?
Talishale: Probably the time I spent in the- *Oh* You mean
weather? Duh. I like summer, because I enjoy heat. Like fire.
12) Who is your best friend(s)?
Talishale: Thraxes. *I got this* He is my adviser from home. I
also use to have a friend named Durr, but he is no longer
around. And a pink wizard named Grav, I wonder where he is these
days. And Dukes, he had a thing called a gun. It was cool. Crazy
future dweller.
13) What are your hobbies?
Talishale: Oohhhh I am a cat hunter! I hunt cats and kill them!
*Is not!* I enjoy making friends with wild animals too. They are
so much easier to befriend.
14) What is your favorite drink?
Talishale: Glad you asked. *I don't know*
15) When is your birthday?
Talishale: It is the same time every year. *really?* It's today
actually. *Jerk* It's not.
16) What age did you die?
Talishale: Now that is a deep question. Because as far as I know
I am clearly alive. But we could go existential. I am partial to
those kind of conversations. *Then don't listen!* I would say I
died when I first entered this world…
17) Are you nice or mean?
Talishale: I am absolutely delightful!!! *Except then.* *That
doesn't count either because I tried to be nice* I can be mean,
in a completely delightful way. *But I was doing that to
protect-* *I did that because they threatened Durr* *That…That I
did for fun.* I would say 90% absolutely delightful, and 10%
mean when is is called for. *Oh yes. That was fun too. He called
me a liar and deserved it.* *it was just poison. It's not my
fault he is a weakling*
18)What do you think of your creator?
Talishale: Well I was pretty young when my parents died. *Oh?*
You mean deeper than that. Like the ultimate creator. I don't
believe in that kind of creator *Or we could go even deeper!* My
creator is an adorable, yet insane little human named Colee.

19) What is your weakness?
Talishale: I am- *okay, fine* I guess it is a bad idea to tell
people your weaknesses. {whispers} I am socially awkward one
could say. I am not very good with people, but that is because
they are judgy. *I know you can hear me when I whisper*
20) How long can you stay under water?
Talishale: With a little magic I can stay as long as I want!
Which is good because I can't swim very well. *Because I am tiny
and lack upper body strength* I would have included that in my
weaknesses but .....
21.) What do you do on a regular day basis?
Talishale: Meditate of course. Dabble with magic. Follow around
my companions as I try to- {rolls eyes} seek out stuff I am
trying to seek out. And hunt cats.
22.) Do you love someone?
Talishale: Yes.
23.) Does that person love you back?
Talishale: No.
24.) How many languages do you speak?
Talishale: I speak only a few but I have a personal translator
who speaks many many more than me. So I sort of speak most
languages but also very few. *magic fixes everything*
25.) Who are your closest friends/allies?
Talishale: Friends? Mara. My one and only. She accepted me
before even knowing me! That was refreshing after everything.
She is so open and caring, something I have never seen in
humanity. *She is!* I've got my eyes on a few other
friendship targets. I think of myself as a friendship assassin.
*Really?* *wrong word choice?* *oh* That came out wrong. I am
not an assassin. I just mean I have targets and I will not rest
until I kill the defenses around their cold hearts and then warm
them with the rainbows and sunshine of friendship! No? *I am
getting that feeling* Apparently that was weird. Let's just say
I have one confirmed friend and 4 pending.
Allies? *the pending ones* I travel with a distant dark elf
that I know next to nothing about. I guess he had a sister who
died-ish right before I met them. *he seems the least
interested in friendship* There is a kind elf with a million
friends in town. He has soft heart but some deeper brokenness
that he holds close. *he saved me once, I think we are getting
closer to frienship* There is a bard who wants to hate
everything. Which is not how I ever imagined a bard. He seems
very brilliant but yet very dumb at the same time. He is very
charismatically uncharismatic. *I feel like he really needs a
hug* We have a very fragile friendship going on, I would refer
to it as completely one sided. I think out of all of us he needs
a friend the most. *baby steps* Finally there is a rainbow
wizard who reminds me of the pink wizard but then not at all.
*I know* *His magic is not like anything I have seen before.*
*Why don't I know nature magic?* *odd* The rainbow wizard
doesn't talk but seems to live life to the fullest with unicorns
and whores. *good for him* Something is off with him though.
He looks like he really needs a hug the most.
26.) Religion?
Talishale: I do not believe in the gods. I believe in power, and
there is nothing more powerful than nature. So I guess I value
nature, but I worship nothing.
27.) Are you afraid of anything?
Talishale: Yes a few things. *I am not afraid of cats, that is
why I hunt them!* Not cats. I hate heights. That is why I have
learned as many spells as I can to protect me from heights;
spider climb, feather fall, fly, to name a few. *I am not afraid
of that either.*
28.) What's your family or relatives like?
Talishale: Uhhhh. *I know* I can barely remember. I haven't seen
anyone in such a long time.

Can you not tell? Am I not a perfect specimen of masculinity?
2 ) What is your age?
My people do not account for these things past a certain time. I
joined the Melee-Magthere at the age of 10, as all House Princes
do. After a decade, I graduated that school to enter the Tower
of Sorcere, the college of wizards. 30 long years would I have
toiled there, had my family not fallen out of favor. After the
war on my House, we spent an incalculable amount of time fleeing
to the surface. I have suffered under the Sun-Star for almost 30
years as you humans would track time.
3 ) What is your profession?
I am of noble birth and blood. I need nothing so common as a
‘profession’.
4 ) Do you have any bad habits?
I guess that all depends on your definition of ‘bad’.
5 ) How tall are you? Hair color? Eyes?
Have you no eyes? I am as tall as I am, with hair and eyes no
different than any other of my people.
6 ) Do you have any distinguishing marks?
Once you gaze upon all that is me, how could you forget any of
it?
7 ) Are you a virgin?
Did I not already say that I am of noble birth? There are
certain things expected of me.
8 ) Have you killed anyone?
Oh yes, a great many lives have I taken. More will fall before
me, either in worship or in blood.
9 ) Do you hate anyone?
Have you never met one of my kind? Of course not, if you had you
would have not bothered to ask.
10 ) Do you have any secrets?
I am not going to dignify that with an answer.
11 ) What is your favorite season, and why?
In my homeland, there are no seasons. I find all this change on
the surface strange and uncomfortable.
12 ) Who is your best friend(s)?
The drow have no word for ‘friend’. The closest we come is
abbil, but it translates more into trusted ally. No the same
thing, you see. Subtle differences.
13 ) What are your hobbies?
What person of any respectable station does not have a few eh?
As my people would say jivvin quui’elghinn.
14 ) What is your favorite drink?
I don’t suppose you have ever heard of qilovestualt? No? I
thought not. *sigh*
15 ) When is your birthday?
I honestly do not recall . . .
16 ) What age did you die?
Such as strange question. As I am here before you, it would mean
that I have not yet perished. Unless you mean a false death of
which we all suffer. Death of love, of power, of pride.
17 ) Are you nice or mean?
I am sure I do not understand the question. I am as I am, as I
must be. Is this not the case with everyone?
18 ) What do you think of your creator?
Phlar Lolth ssinssrickla kolsen’shea obb. I will not translate
aloud. One does not taunt those with power if one wishes to live
out the day, you understand.
19 ) What is your weakness?
*He simply stares at you with dead eyes*
20 ) How long can you stay under water?
A candlemark or so I would guess, though with minimal effort of
will it could be much, much longer.
21 ) What do you do on a regular day basis?
I live! What kind of question is this? Do you want the small
details of what I eat and to whom I converse? Between dreams is
the time where you make those dreams real! Your deals, your
plans, your future, these are the things you ‘do’.
22 ) Do you love someone?
Love? I do not know this word. I think you mean ssinssrigg yes?
There have been some who instill such in me. It is hard to tell
as the drow are unknowable and you surface folk are . . .
difficult to read.
23 ) Does that person love you back?
Usstan’sargh wael.
24 ) How many languages do you speak?
Test me and we shall see if there is one I do not.
25 ) Who are your closest friends/allies?
Ah my abban yes? I have few, thought I have not known them long.
I travel with a cadre of colnbluth: Elend Parzdiamo who, though
tuth rivvil faerie, seems to harbor no ill will, at least not to
my people as a whole. Even claims an dobluth taught him of our
ways! A bae’qeshel, an elven one at that, who, though he is no
drow, has displayed a talent for the arts of subtly and seems to
have no morality issue if paid. A rivvil sargtlin, who abandoned
her home, though I do not know why, yet, and seeks to redeem
herself through devotion to her goddess. A more recent addition
was a rivvil pera’dene of the Fae, who wonders aimlessly. A fool
to be sure, but a useful one. Most recently we have taken on a
streeaka droc’uh who seems to be more than she is. Her claims of
voices in her head are a sign of either madness or genius, but
only time will tell.

I offer the gods their due, but keep them out of my affairs as
much as possible.
27 ) Are you afraid of anything?
I am afraid these questions will never end . . .
28 ) What's your family or relatives like?
You should be so lucky as to never have to find out the answer
to that question.
