Confirmation on the Finances involved for 2015:
Minimum cost to do the event for a team is 24,000 GBP

Entry Fee
Boat Charter
Boat Branding
Food and Supplies Expenses
Hotel Accommodation
Crew Flights appr. 450pp
Team Equipment
Team Equipment Branding
Team Salaries
PR Expenses
Contingency
23,950.00
Messe Frankfurt's interest is purely in attracting more teams in
the event.
Entry Fee
What will the entry fee be in 2015
Issa Mentioned that the entry fee would either be removed or the
entry fee's would all be compiled together and result in a prize
money split amongst top 3 boats
Jamie Mentioned that the entry fee will stay the same, however
that if one team can get another team to 'sign up' then a
discount will be given
Messe Frankfurt Opinion - even though we can this year
financially afford the entry fee, it would be better for the
overall event if the entry fee was removed in order to allow
more teams to enter.
Charter Fee
What will the charter fee be in 2015?
Messe Frankfurt opinion - Have this removed or reduced as well
in order to attract more teams. If the overall costs is reduced
by half, then more teams will be able to enter the event.
Hotels Package
Is it possible to book this directly through Oman Sail? It would
be easier for all teams to directly pay oman sail £x.xx and in
return have accommodation arranged at all stop overs.
