Chapter One - The Beginning
1987 - Shuto Expressway Wangan, Tokyo, Japan
It was a silent night. There was no wind, no rain, no clouds,
and the only thing in sight that night was the luminous
full-moon. Below the moon was the Shuto Expressway, a network of
toll roads expanding over Greater Tokyo. The entire Shuto
Expressway was empty that night, with the exception of the
Bayshore route, formerly known as Wangan. The Wangan is the
longest, straightest road in the entire county of Japan, and
tonight there were only three individuals lined up across the
road. These individuals are Japans most elite street racers,
driving modified vehicles costing unimaginable amounts of money.
They gathered there tonight for a fun race, engines roared,
tires squealed, and the smell of burnt rubber was in the air.
After an incredible race, speeding down the Wangan at speeds up
to 300 kilometers an hour, the individuals relaxed at the side
of the road, smoking a few cigarettes.
Chapter Two - The fall of a Empire
1999 - Shuto Expressway, Tokyo, Japan
The Bosozoku motorcycle gang were awaiting the arrival of the
Mid Night Club members on one of there regular runs. As they
were racing down the expressway a few of the members accepted
the challenge requested by the Bosozoku motorcycle gang. Due to
the nature of the drivers, they drove at extremely high speeds,
however the members were new recruits. The members were newbies,
new recruits, representing the notorious and infamous Mid Night
Club. They raced down Wangan, approaching speeds of four hundred
kilometers an hour, however there was a fatal flaw. This was a
race during the day, out of control the members accidentally
entered the traffic zone. BOOM. Huge chain car crashes, hundreds
of vehicles being destroyed. This fatal race resulted in the
death of two Bosozoku members, eight motorists hospitalized, six
of them being innocent bystanders. The Mid Night Club name was
tarnished, forever. The number one club rule was "No endangering
members and bystanders in races." this was the end of the Mid
Night club. After that the police of Japan kept tighter leashes
on the gang, restricting them from any cash flow. It was a great
run, however they were pre y2k.
Chapter Three - Japanese Domestic Market, San Andreas
2013 - Los Santos Expressway, Los Santos, San Andreas,
California
Fourteen years have passed. Many times did people try to imitate
the true legend of the Mid Night Club, and many old members have
tried to recreate it the infamous club, however they all failed.
After the disbanding of the Mid Night Club hundreds of new
racing teams spawned, in a huge spree to become the best.
However the reason of failure was the country, not the concept.
After fourteen years, almost all of the original members moved
into North America, specifically Los Santos, to escape the
crimes they committed in Japan. The Japanese domestic market
became one of the fastest growing markets in North America. One
of the original members decided it was time to bring the legacy
back, after figuring out that San Andreas is a whole new region
to explore. They recruited many of the most skilled racers
across Los Santos, trying to bring the respect back into the
name. The team leader of the North American Mid Night Club
racing team was Jean Supreme. Jean Supreme, a underground racer
in the scene, began recruiting the best of the best. The old
policies of the Mid Night Club remained, however this time
around the standards were set even higher. Illegal top speed
races started appearing along the Los Santos expressway, Los
Venturas route. However new policies were set in place to
increase the safety of the club's brand. A new generation of
vehicles, a new black market, a thriving economy, and of course
there were still motorcycle gangs. The Mid Night Club still
remains in its old glorious ways, open to individuals who get
that feeling that crawls up their throat from the thrill of
going overdrive with speed, the most elite, the fastest, the
most skilled street racers out there. There will not be another
slip-up they say.
