       NAME:
       Hikari Tachibani
       DATE OF BIRTH:
       02.12.
       AGE:
       Sixteen
       GENDER:
       Male
       SEXUAL ORIENTATION:
       Heterosexual
       SPECIES:
       Kābankuru [Carbuncle]
Humanoid creatures with little magical properties that are able
to switch between two forms: a rabbit form that resembles the
Earth’s natural creatures and a humanoid form (and forms
between). They are identified by the small diamond-shaped emblem
upon their foreheads that is actually an actual jewel. They are
completely similar to humans in every way except the
aforementioned properties and have organs and skeletal
structures resembling any other human being or rabbit (depending
on their form at present). Their life spans are slightly farther
than those of humans, retaining their beauty and youth a
time-and-half as long as a human does (Average life span: 120
Years) due to their advanced medicines and dormant magical
ability. However, they do have several characteristics that make
them special in terms of power and magical ability that support
       this.
       OCCUPATION:
Flower Shop Cashier - Posing out of a Flower Shop, Tokyo Bloom,
along with his mother; Hikari acts as a child who works the
register for extra income. Since himself and his mother are both
Kābankuru, they use the Flower Shop’s resources to create
herbal teas that act as remedies to rejuvenate the body and
accelerate the healing process. As a result, it is very healthy
and flavorful. It is one reason why everyone comes to the shop
if not to buy flowers, but blissfully unaware as they sip the
shop’s tea while they lounge around in the public space
surrounded by bouquets and potted plants.
Student - Even as a Kābankuru, Hikari still has to keep up
appearances! As a result, he goes to school as a student in
Asuka Academy, a lesser prestigious school than most, but
perfect for him to keep his cover. Even though he is a brilliant
chemist due to his family’s trademark properties, he suffers at
things such as Japanese and English writing making it so that
his cover is safe due to his horrid grades.
       HOBBIES:
Chemistry - Hikari loves to do chemistry! It is his family’s
brithrite, and so as a result, he is very interested in chemical
experiments and putting together elements like puzzles. He is
also able to remember quite a few recipes! In the modern day and
age, he usually watches videos of experiments on the internet
rather than reading them. Since he is terrible at Japanese
writing and English, books do not hold his attention that well.
Baking - If Chemistry involves baking, then Hikari is also a
brilliant baker. Unlike trying to understand formulas in text,
Hikari actually has an easier time remembering certain recipes
in books, especially if they have pictures. Often, his Archive
Access along with his ability to shape Mochi would often make
baked good shaped items with a bland or empty taste. However,
the appearance always looks very edible even if nothing about
the flavor is spectacular. However, he does have a passion for
baking tasty and healthy treats that people will enjoy. Not only
that, but with his knowledge in chemistry, it becomes delicious
       and chalked full of nutrients!
Hot Springs - He loves Hot Springs due to the healing sensation!
Since Hot Springs are said to have therapeutic properties, it is
only proper that the Kābankuru have a liking for them. As a
result, he adores sitting within them to relax whenever he has
the chance. The relaxation seems to have a rejuvenating effect
on his body as he is refreshed and ready to do almost anything!
       PERSONALITY:
Hikari Tachibani is a Kābankuru that has spent his mundane
lifestyle on Earth. Due to this, he has grown in the leisure of
his home and everything that has come of it. Oblivious of his
heritage, at least with the years that have gone by, Hikari had
not thought much of his own ability and his place in the world.
However, with times that had changed on the Earth and on the
Moon, he became fully exposed to the life of a Kābankuru.
Hikari, in-turn, has learned about a side of his family he has
never known of, forces within this world he is not aware of, and
then there are the changes in his body that he cannot explain
       which sends him into chaos.
As a teenager, Hikari’s personality is quite sporadic. He
believes himself responsible and does so due to his mother’s
carefree and whimsy side. As his mother has consistently shown
to not take things she believes as trivial to be serious to
Hikari, he thinks of himself as a man of the house. This is even
more true as her husband divorced her due to her dedication to
the flower shop, but not being aware of why. Hikari thinks of
himself not as material, but more realistic, even though this
causes him to think so highly of himself and confident that he
in the end demonstrates his ignorance. Hikari puts on a front
and acts bratty at times, but he has his mother’s heart and his
       father’s stubbornness.
When it comes to others, Hikari can be quite...flimsy. His
attitude towards his peers usually is cautious and a sense of
superiority! He will, to no end, be passive and passive
aggressive to his peers. This will include others who genuinely
have an interest in him, but due to his mother’s naive nature,
he tries not to believe everything he holds. This causes him to
be weary and paranoid, not trusting everyone’s words. However,
when he is needed, his sense of compassion that comes from his
mother and their alien family roots cannot be denied. He throws
away his pride completely, that is to be weary of others and
puts forth his pride to heal, nurture, and show empathy.
His peers are one thing, but his superiors are another. Hikari
shows himself to be very respectful of his elders. This is most
likely due to him wanting to be seen as someone more older and
sophisticated, something his mother falls short of. As a person
who has a deep scorn for carefree and naive attitudes, he looks
for others who share the values of elders, mostly that business
comes first and playfulness is usually more casual and high-tier
in etiquette. He prefers to sit around and have discussions
rather than live like a teenage boy. However, even if he acts
this way, he is tempted more times than not to do things that
his peers do. This reveals that Hikari has a sense of loneliness
that is caused by his lack of friends to share these things
with, and a fear that his trust and belief in someone can be
betrayed just as his father had done with his mother.
The Kābankuru are something Hikari has been struggling with
in his recent years. Although he has never known this side of
his family, the abilities he has gained have been a consistent
bother! Sprouting rabbit ears when losing his focus, getting
glimpses of the archives when dreaming, and even at times
becoming an enraged transformed humanoid rabbit are not out of
the question. He freaks out when he loses control over an
ability (especially when going into heat), only to be calmed by
his mother who shows a seriousness to his body’s changes. Also,
being a Kābankuru seems to have him wrestling with his
humanity as he believes he will never have true relationships
with others since he knows he was never truly a “person” all
       along.
Although a strange phenomenon and a part of his species,
Hikari's "going into heat" changes him somewhat dramatically.
Pheromones and conditions cause him to become more assertive and
becomes more mischievous rather than sexual (although it is
still there). To say the least, his obtuse personality becomes a
complete one-eighty as he is more affectionate, supportive, and
even defensive for his friends. Hikari even becomes mischievous
in some light as certain phrases he says may be suggestive or
flirty which would become embarrassing. When he is like this, it
is no holds on his personality as he will be smiling from
ear-to-ear concocting some sort of plan, but still retains the
pacifism to not harm those close to him.
       POWERS/ABILITIES:
Ākaibuakusesu [Archive Access] - The crux of every
Kābankuru’s natural ability! With their jewels imbedded
upon their heads, the Kābankuru are able to access a wealth
of information that has been archived in the Heāzuhebun
[Hare’s Haven], the inner chambers of the Hisui no katakonbe
[Jade Catacombs]. The Kābankuru reside within the Hisui No
Katakonbe which is buried on the opposing end of the Moon where
the Moon Kingdom sits housing the Royal Family and its people.
The cave's first layer protects from intruders using traps and
tricks to confound and wound foes. The inner reaches house the
Kābankuru and their most prized archives, a library filled
with books and pauper that has historical recipes and
combinations of herbs to make some of the most medicinal
cure-alls and remedies found on Earth, the Moon, and several
places among the stars. Depending on the age of the
Kābankuru using this and their skill of crafting by
experience will determine the speed of accessing the archives.
The way this works is through using the jewel on their forehead
in order to communicate with the library. As the library has
magical value and is connected through each and every
Kābankuru who access it (as the library and their forehead
has the jewels embedded within them) sends the information as
electrical pulses directly to the brain. Depending on the
diagnostics of the victim or illness, the properties of the
cure, and understanding what they are looking for are keys in
speed in accessing and finding what they want in the library.
Items they have accessed before are much easier to find, and
sometimes take nothing but a glimmer of the jewel for them to
remember the ingredients rather than a consistent shine to show
       they are searching and accessing.
One important note is that this takes focus, so most young
Kābankuru are not able to move when accessing the library.
Others, who are older, more mature, and experienced; are able to
walk and move their hands to mix the cure while accessing the
archives with their full consciousness intact. Since young ones
focus, they may be subject to vulnerable positions and attacks
in situations. They are incredibly vulnerable because of these
happenings, so it is best that they are careful where they used
it and understand what herbal recipes they are searching for.
Usagi no henkan [Rabbit Transformation] - This is usually
thought of as a Kābankuru’s “True Form” since they are
based on the rabbits that help make the elixir of life. The
Kābankuru are able to use the jewel on their heads in order
to shift from human to rabbit form. In doing so, they are the
size of an Earth Rabbit and depending on their personality
determines their “breed” (Most common of them are pure white
Cottontail). When in this form, they find it useful to slip into
certain spaces, move with a bit more agility, and even be able
to access the archives with a bit more ease without being found
since they can slip into spaces.
The transformation is quick and is usually done almost within
two seconds as they drop from mid-air or shrink down to size.
More experienced and elder members of Kābankuru are able to
make sudden movements while sliding into their transformation in
half and second and back, showing their experience with using
their petite size in combat to dodge if need be (though rare).
Kābankuru can also change into a partial form as the ears
on their head grow to be that of rabbits usually protruding
upwards to match their body size and will have a cottontail as
large as a basketball bouncing on their backside. This form they
say is more “relaxed” as they can fill traces of their magic
flowing through them and empower them (which it does) raising
their humanoid body strength to be comparable to that of the
average bodybuilder. They are able to blow into the Earth with
their hands and nails from their newfound strength. However,
this is still exhausting and saps away energy from their jewel
       to retain this form.
There are finally the drawbacks of this ability. Since they are
half rabbit in nature and in form, they are subject to weakness.
Their ears are sensitive to loud sounds in any form, but the
more advanced form they take (Humanoid > Rabbit > Humanoid
Rabbit) the more subjected they are to loud noises. Since they
are naturally rabbits, sensitivity to sounds and frequency is
more clear and, as a result, more vulnerable. There is also
their access to the archives themselves. When cut off, their
abilities are pretty limited, which happens when they enter
places which inhibits magic. Finally, there is their ironic
vulnerability to pheromones and toxins. Although they are
well-versed in medicine, the Kābankuru have the same mating
season as rabbits: daily (the only creature that mates year
round). Kābankuru are susceptible to hormone based drugs
and aphrodisiacs which cloud their judgement and make focusing
       on archive access more difficult.
Mochi Kusuri [Mochi Medicine] - This is probably the most
complex of their abilities due to the amount of strain, magic,
and the elements involved. A Kābankuru uses the previous
elements of Archive Access and Rabbit Transformation, in order
to turn a block of mochi into a medicine. This usually requires
a hammer as well, their own physical strength, and a block of
mochi they can pound. As descendants of the Jade Rabbit, they
pound using their hammers until the mochi they wish to craft
shapes itself into a set of edible pieces of dough that holds
the properties of the medicine they envision at that moment.
Since it requires a lot of strength, this makes it so that this
is their last resort if someone needs emergency treatment and
       time is a factor.
Archive Access is activated to find the recipe they need to
craft simultaneously with rabbit transformation to give them
strength to wield a hammer (any shaped hammer will do). During
this time, they will take Mochi or Dough (uncooked) and begin
hammering away at the object as it begins to supernaturally
shape itself into a simplistic character (Circle, Square, Star,
etc) that can be consumed. This is done while envisioning the
recipe while moving their body, a difficult task that will take
time. However, in a matter of seconds (more or less depending on
experience and strength), the medicine will be complete.
Usually, older and experienced Kābankuru who have
strengthened their bodies forgo the rabbit transformation and
wield a hammer by themselves, thus increasing their focus on
accessing the library with greater efficiency.
Usually, a recipe is crafted in ten seconds at max for the
average Kābankuru. However, depending on the complexity and
just how powerful the virus or infection is, it will take more
time, especially depending on the properties of the medicine
(Cure, Vaccine, Immunity, Etc). Since young and inexperienced
Kābankuru are not strong enough to withstand the
transformation while hammering their cure, they will quickly
drain their magical reserves and may not be able to make as many
cures. Also, their experience is a factor as being able to turn
a block of Mochi into a cure may compress it to the point they
make a single cure which will be meant for a single person
compared to a more experienced Kābankuru being able to turn
a block of Mochi into three-four cures.
       APPEARANCE:
Running colors are usually black with colors of flowers; brights
with wooden sandals with straps and long black socks. Hair is
always flowing to below shoulder level and violet colored.
Sleeves are widened, usually overlapping wrists and knuckles of
the fingers. Edges of trimming of the opening below the waist is
at the ankle level. Accessories include a pendant of a
blossoming Gracadia that is usually hidden beneath the collar of
his clothing. The style changes depending on the various
presentations and whether he is working or not.
When in public, his style drapes completely over his body. When
working, his clothing lacks the long trim and has a knee-length
run of a cloth. The sleeves are wider than usual allowing him to
move his hands. He moves in a way that makes it so that his
clothing almost makes it appear as if he is floating.
Consistently, he may wear types of accessories that keep the
theme of flowers and floral life. He wears the insignia of a
       Magnolia.
Finally, there is the job-based outfit where he trims his
clothing short by the wrist and knees and he wears a thermal
beneath his outfit. This is to allow for movement and easy
transformation into his partial rabbit form if needed. His hair
is usually pinned back with a large flower-like pin to allow his
hair to sweep to one side. The style is only different in the
sense that it allows him to move more gracefully and swiftly
compared to the extra long cut of the cloth he has at his feet.
He wears sandals that are secured to his feet and woven from
weathered wicker to be durable and thick.

       CHARACTER HISTORY:
Once upon a time, there was a Kingdom on the Moon and a
       catacombs within…
Hikari Tachibani knew nothing of this! As a child born in
Okinawa, Japan, he was just a simple islander. He spent the
years with his mother, father, and younger sister within the
home near the beach. It was supposedly their dream family coming
together, or so that was the image. However, Chiasa Tachibani, a
woman whose passions were in her Flower Shop, had her business
as a part of the dream image. For a woman who had a secret for
many years, this was something that was hard to hold on to as
she suffered in silence through a marriage she could not
       understand.
Chiasa would have conflict with her husband Hikaru, that Hikari
would often witness. With himself concerned more for his sister,
he would protect her from these arguments by leaving home as
much as possible. To that degree, he had some ties to the
community but seldom with others around him. His primary concern
at such a tender age was with his sister. Therefore, he would be
sure to spend time with the island’s more mature men and women
who looked out for the neighborhood. As a result, he developed a
sense of maturity and responsibility to keep his sister out of
trouble. It was infectious, and soon, they would support each
       other.
The only burden that came was that this did not fix their
problems. Eventually, Chiasa would go through the divorce and
would defend her Flower Shop. As a result, Tokyo Bloom, her
floral shop, would remain hers to keep as long as her husband
could keep his wealth. To Hikari, he believed that his mother
chose to invest more in the Flower Shop than the family as over
the course of the divorce, she justified that Tokyo Bloom was
something the family needed and was a part of their heritage.
Concern for their father was not warranted as much as the Flower
       Shop.
       Hikari did not understand.
Through the years, Hikari would grow by investing himself into
the shop. It was out of resentment as he would believe that the
shop was all business and nothing more. He was oblivious of its
structure as he would never question how people that would enter
the shop were more cherry when they left, or how business in a
small town would blossom over time. Tokyo Bloom became the
center of the island’s paradise as many visitors would frequent
the flower shop to lounge and drink tea and leave. Still, he
would follow his mother believing that the shop was important,
and tried to get her attention in doing so.
Even then, Chiasa was frivolous to the point that Hikari would
question her actions. She would be carefree about how others
treated her and the shop, and would see his father’s passive
aggression towards her on small visits. His boasting and goading
would tire Hikari’s nerves to the point he experienced intense
headaches and became more frustrated easily. His hormones would
rage as he experienced intense anger one moment and then the
next would be extremely cheerful. Chiasa was concerned, and
would announce that they would leave their island home of
Okinawa and move Tokyo Bloom to the city it was based off of:
       Tokyo.
Hikari, bothered by the transition, was too busy dealing with
his infrequent emotional drives. Eventually, he would wake up
with strange side-effects. Finally, there would be a small space
on his forehead that seemed to be a blossom bit of acne. But
with time, the small bump would become a jewel on his forehead
as he reached puberty. As a result, Hikari would then know there
was more to his strange headaches and that something was
happening to his body. Chiasa, calm as she could be, would
simply tell her son that he, like herself, was not of this
       world: He was Kābankuru.
Chiasa had to explain the story to Hikari about the real story
of his family: that he was a descendent from a family ancients
of the Jade Rabbit who had children. The story would be that
they would be people who were Clerics and Apothecaries who would
come from their burrows when they were needed. However, when the
Earth rose up and destroyed the moon, the family was the first
to flee as their ties with the Earth was how they knew of the
impending doom to the Moon. Their people hid among the Earth
itself in order to flourish and live with some of them either
dying out to protect their secrets or trying to find refuge
       elsewhere not trusting the Earth.
       This was all crazy!
Her son, Hikari, did not believe in a Moon Queen, a Princess,
and a war between the Earth and the Moon. As a result, he
initially did not take anything seriously until she had to
demonstrate her abilities. Chiasa, before her son’s eyes would
reach to her head and press her ears until they stretched beyond
his head. Then she would sprout a large puffy tail from her
backside. After doing so, Chiasa would take her son and
demonstrate why Tokyo Bloom was so important to the family.
Taking the leaves and roots from the flowers she blossomed, she
would concoct a chemical with her very hands that would be
poured into the tea and served while not pouring anything into
another cup for Hikari to taste. With a sip from each, he knew
       the difference and the truth:
Tokyo Bloom was not a flower shop, but rather a medicinal shop.
As a result, Hikari would be aware of his family...both sides.
However, his uneasiness and anger only grew. He believed himself
thrust into an uneasy destiny that he did not want! With certain
nights where he would wake, he would feel headaches and see
visions as his mother would explain that he was “peeking” into
the Archives of his family’s legacy, his head would sprout
rabbit-like ears, and at times he would wake up as a complete
rabbit. The worst of all was the extreme heat his body felt to
which he learned that he had the physiological drive of a rabbit
to the point that he had to control his urges and learn to
always keep water on him as his mother had.
Being a descendant of a family of ancient people was one thing.
Being a rabbit was along with it? It was worse!
