PERSONALITY:
When in the presence of someone that he cares for, whether it is
someone he loves deeply with the bottom of his heart or a close
friend/acquaintance, Mamoru is known for being very protective
of them. He won't allow anyone to hurt them if he can help it
and does his best to give them enough support that he is able to
give. He doesn't go around making empty promises to people and
has only done this with one person in his life which he regrets
wholeheartedly but won't admit. His protectiveness of loved ones
isn't limited there but to the entire Earth as well since he is
its protector and therefore can feel if there is anything going
on with it that shouldn't be going on. He would be the first to
act or at the very least try and keep the disturbances away as
long as he's able.
Naturally, he's used to fighting alone and feels he can find
more information surrounding what's going on with him this way.
He'll always consider those that he's met to be his friends and
will look out for them no matter what happens. He can become
laid back occasionally and has favored the past time of reading
since he owns a vast collection of books in his house. Mamoru's
highly intelligent as well and he uses this intelligence to his
advantage whenever he goes out to fight. He can have some fun
sometimes and has been shown to joke around with others from
time to time. Mamoru naturally is a distant person but he does
socialize when he wants to. The cause behind him distancing
himself is because he has trouble trying to remember everything
about the person he used to be. Because of the accident, he was
in with his family, it'd caused him to have amnesia and instead
of regaining some of his memories, his memories of another life
are awakened which come to him in either visions or his dreams.
He's unable to make sense of them but deep down knows that it
has something to do with why he takes on the personal of Tuxedo
Kamen. Also because he has no memories of his family, he rarely
talks about them because of the simple fact he doesn't remember
them but he is aware of the fact that they are dead. The rest of
his life is shrouded in a sea of mystery. Although he wishes to
remember more about the family he used to have, he puts it aside
only to figure out the visions he keeps having involving himself
as a king protecting a young mysterious woman with long flowing
hair. As a person, he isn't generally difficult to get along
with but rather difficult to get close to. As a student and a
teacher, he is quite different since he deals with males on a
regular basis and not a mixture of students. That said, he can
be very blunt and honest with his students, especially if he
believes they aren't trying hard enough in their studies and
finds that failure isn't an option in his class. It's half and
half with his students: half of them like him and the other half
don't.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
Limited Clairvoyance - Mamoru has the power to gain information
about an object by simply touching it. Doing so allows him to
learn more about the history of a particular item and this
includes who was the last person to have handled/used it. The
information is provided to him through vague fragmented visions
that force him to have to connect the dots of what he was given
in order for it to be of any use to him. The power itself is
only limited to objects and not people.
Psychic Link - Mamoru has shared a small link with his future
self as King Endymion and it is through this link that he is
shown glimpses of what's happened during a time in which another
part of him had lived. Seeing these visions mostly confuse him
because he lacks an understanding of their meaning. He is
currently unaware of his connection to King Endymion as well as
his connection to Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino.
Limited Healing - Mamoru is able to heal himself and others
using the power of his mind but because it requires a lot of his
own energy to do so, it takes a lot out of him depending upon
how severe ones injures are. He can only heal minor injuries
that aren't life-threatening to the person but healing itself
takes a toll on his own body. That being said, he cannot regrow
any limbs that have been lost and he cannot bring anyone back
from the dead.
Golden Crystal - Mamoru is the wielder of the Earth's golden
crystal. This makes him not only makes him in touch with the
world but he's able to also feel any disturbances when something
is wrong with it. The gold crystal can be used in the same
manner as the silver crystal as it can heal the damage done to
the earth or a person but one thing it cannot do is grant the
wishes of the user.
Other Skills - Mamoru has a high accuracy rate of throwing
objects, an example of this is the famous red roses. He's good
at throwing knives and darts as well and he's pretty efficient
in using a sword when he needs to.
Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber - An attack that is fired from Mamoru's
hands in the form of a blast of energy that was known to being
fatal when it makes contact with enemies.
APPEARANCE:
Mamoru stands at the height of 5'9" with short black hair and
deep blue eyes. He's pretty muscular and lean without being
overly large with a peach-pale skin complex, pointed chin, small
rounded eyes and wears a medium-sized pair of glasses. Mamoru's
almost always wearing suit attire of all different colors with
long-sleeved oxford shirts, different color ties, and black or
brown dress shoes with either white or black socks. He has been
seen wearing casual clothing like regular pants and shirts with
sneakers but it is rare. Whenever he becomes Tuxedo Kamen,
Mamoru usually dons a black tuxedo, with black dress shoes,
black cape with the inside of it red, a black top hat and a
white mask to cover his eyes.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Mamoru Chiba is the reincarnation of King Endymion who once
ruled over the Moon Kingdom in the past years ago. Mamoru
himself never had any recollection of this because he didn't
start having visions regarding his past life until an
unfortunate accident caused him to lose all of his memories and
awakened memories of his past. He was born to parents Tatsuya
Chiba and Hisano Chiba and they were parents with hardworking
everyday jobs to make ends meet as any married couple did. They
didn't have any money problems but they made do with what they
had even when they began to have children. Yes, they had two
children, Mamoru being their oldest and a younger son named
Hiroki Chiba. Both boys got along with each other despite the
fact that they were incredibly different. They were highly
intelligent boys but Hiroki was more so than Mamoru so it isn't
surprising that they competed academically in a lot of things to
prove which one of them was smarter than the other. It was all
in good fun and they found it as a way to challenge each other
rather than be separated or treated differently.
Their parents couldn't have been any happier to have such happy
young boys that would grow up to do such great things. However,
this happiness ended on the day of Mamoru's birthday. He'd
turned six years old and they were on their way to a restaurant
to celebrate it when their car had slammed into another one.
Tatsuya and Hisano were killed instantly in the impact but the
crash left the boys injured as well but alive. The only problem
was, they didn't remember each other and so they were sent to
different orphanages and only Hiroki had been adopted by a kind
immigrant family from France while Mamoru himself stayed in the
orphanage he'd been taken to. In fact, he grew up there since no
one ever decided to adopt him and because he couldn't remember
anything about his family, this left him to be completely
distant from others who tried to get close to him. It's because
he kept focusing so hard on trying to remember everything that
no matter how hard he tried, it only seemed to make his head
hurt each time. His life did change the older he became and it
was when he started having dreams of an unknown figure calling
out to him and telling him to search for an item known as the
Silver Crystal.
He did nothing in the beginning and would just ignore the dreams
but they became more and more frequent to a point he stopped
ignoring them and decided to do what this unknown person was
asking of him. That maybe if he'd found this Silver Crystal,
he'll be able to find the answers that he's been searching for,
for so long in regards to his family and what his true purpose
for existing was because he felt he had none. So he donned a
cape, mask, and tuxedo and began his search for the Silver
Crystal at the age of seventeen. While he wanted answers in
regards to who he was and where he came from, he'd only been
told that his family didn't make it but that didn't stop him
from doing more research about his past and the event that
caused him to lose his memory and awaken the strange ones that
often come to him in dreams. For the longest time, he'd never
told anyone about them, figuring no one would believe him
anyway. Honestly, what would a person think if he would tell
them about dreams of him living as someone else that looked like
him in another time? Mamoru barely understood it himself, so
there was no need to involve anyone else in it, especially if
his search ended up with him discovering something dangerous.
And it did. He would end up fighting creatures in the middle of
the night that were attacking innocent and unsuspecting people
within the city. They were hardly considered normal and many a
time he's barely walked away without at least a few scratches or
two. The more he fought, the more things began to slowly uncover
themselves but not as he wanted it to and it was frustrating for
him. He couldn't get his mind off of it but he would force
himself to do it sometimes, focusing on schoolwork and making
sure that his grades stayed up. Since he lived alone, he didn't
have to worry about parents pressuring him to do well. He simply
did it because he wanted to and because Mamoru had decided upon
becoming a teacher. When he graduated from high school with
outstanding scores and a high GPA, he was scouted by many
universities, a few were in America. Leaving seemed like such a
good idea, however, Mamoru knew he couldn't do that without
first getting the answers he wanted to the questions he had. So
he decided to stay in Tokyo and attend school at Todai
University. He completed his first year and is in his second,
working on a teaching internship at Ashford Private Boys Academy
where he teaches physics classes.
Mamoru is probably one of a small group of teachers at Ashford
that are quite young but he might be the most known youngest
there, to the knowledge of other teachers. However, it isn't
something he focuses on. He's simply there to do his job while
also trying to finish up his own schooling as well as solve the
mysteries that are clouding his mind. For this, he's not the
most sociable person in the world but he does speak to others he
interacts with on a daily basis. He is honest and firm with the
students that he teaches, taking his job serious just as the
students should take their lessons from him seriously. Mamoru
would've preferred a co-ed school to teach at but if anything
he's learned so far when it comes to teaching since attending
Todai, is that sometimes there's a specific group that needs to
be taught more than others. So he's giving it a chance and
hopefully come to like it more. Although his job is temporary
until a permanent teacher is found, the job is giving him that
out in the field chance. So he's not going to give up, no matter
what life throws at him. And as a teacher, it's also his job to
keep the students of the school safe as well. Ashford may not be
anything like what he hears about Tsukuba but given the
creatures he's fought against, he wouldn't doubt they'll start
targeting the male students at Ashford eventually. Mamoru won't
let that happen.
