APPEARANCE:
Tsubasa is a young feminine looking male standing at the height
of 5'5" with short blonde hair with his bangs in the front
covering over his eyebrows while the back covers his neck. He
has hairpins on the right side of his hair to keep it out of his
face. He has azure blue eyes with a rather innocent young face
of a teenage girl. Despite being a boy, his appears deceives
people into thinking that he is a girl when he isn't. His attire
is simple, yet casual when not wearing a school uniform. He's
known for wearing an outfit that consists of a pink shirt with a
darker top underneath it, held up by straps that are tied around
his neck. The pink shirt has a purple butterfly print on the
left side of his waist. He wears a white belt to go along with
it and completing the outfit he wears a very short blue jean
skirt, beige leg warmers, and brown heels. But he does wear
other various female clothing like dresses, shorts, skirts, etc.
He takes pride in his appearance and therefore he keeps himself
groomed constantly. Instead of wearing the boys uniform, he
wears the required girls uniform for his grade level.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Tsubasa Shidou was born and raised into a wealthy family that
runs multiple large businesses all over the world and a
prestigious private school. Since childhood, he has always
received the best education from highly respectable teachers and
tutors in addition to traditional schools. He is a high achiever
both academically and athletically. Tsubasa's also very sociable
and has always been a popular person at his former schools and
tutors have often expressed that he is a well behaved, well
mannered and kind student. The only problem is, only Tsubasa's
private at home tutors knew of his true gender but whenever he
attended school, everyone, including his teachers saw him as
female. This is because of the simple fact that before Tsubasa's
birth, his parents were told that they were going to have a girl
as they already had a son and was aiming for a girl. So, Tsubasa
isn't an only child, just a very gender confused one.
His parents work kept them away from home frequently and so he
spent a lot of his time with either his older brother Tsukasa or
their home staff that was paid to keep an eye on him. Tsubasa
didn't have much interaction with his parents and whenever he
did, he was surprised by it since part of him believed they
didn't love him or at least he thought so. His parents came up
with the idea to dress their son up as a female due to the
simple fact that he had the appearance of one and though his
presence was overlooked a lot compared to his older brother,
this didn't stop him from doing things that he wanted to do and
liked. He may not have gotten much attention from his parents,
so he put all of that frustration onto something more
productive. Tsubasa loved music and had been taught to play many
different instruments, becoming more talented in playing the
violin and piano at age ten. He puts all of his focus and energy
into playing these instruments to where he creates such
beautiful, comforting and relaxing music.
Since more was expected of his brother and less of him, Tsubasa
focused on doing his own thing. He isn't oblivious to the fact
that he emotionally separated from people because of his gender.
Being born a boy but acting more and more like a female than
male the older he became. At one point he grew his hair out so
long that his own parents started to not recognize him as their
own child, confusing him with some random girl that has come to
visit their older son which suffice to say did annoy him so he
eventually cut his hair to be short.
They had decided that Tsubasa should start dressing as a male
from now on instead of a girl but he found himself liking female
clothing and wanting to continue wearing them despite their
protests. Naturally, they had no choice but to accept this
despite their desire to not want to so Tsubasa being recognized
as female became official for them but they still were worried
that cause for speculations would occur and warned Tsubasa many
times to be careful when concealing the fact that he is male.
Should anyone find out, it would mean bad publicity for their
family and that was something they didn't want.
Around the time Tsubasa turned thirteen, his family's business
began to slide and things took a turn for the worst for them
all. They couldn't afford to pay their hired help, let alone
keep their children with them. As the situation continued to
escalate therefore they took it upon themselves to drop their
children off with relatives. Tsukasa lived with cousins while
Tsubasa lived with his aunt and uncle on his father's side but
even then, not even they could afford to keep him there. Not so
much of a problem money wise as opposed to not only did they
state they weren't going to address Tsubasa as female but also
they didn't have enough room for him to be able to sleep
anywhere.
He had to share a room with their smaller children who were so
nagging. He took it upon himself to volunteer to live on his own
if his aunt and uncle didn't mind footing the bill for wherever
he decided to stay. He promised to find someplace cheap, yet
decent to live but also, he wouldn't have to deal with them
being judgmental for his own personal decisions. They were not
okay with this but it was either deal with him living with them
dressing up in girls clothes or let him live on his own.
So they agreed and Tsubasa began looking into places all over
Tokyo that were affordable enough in a price range for his aunt
and uncle to afford. He eventually spotted an ad in the
newspaper about a place called the Hinata Sou Inn where it
housed both a male and female dorms on the property. Not to
mention that their one bedrooms were incredibly cheap for a
place that looked like it was high end. That and the
advertisement read about many residents that lived there always
end up finding what they come looking for when saying which was
what Tsubasa wanted. A place where he could be accepted and
wouldn't be a burden to anyone.
He was surprised to see how many people lived there and he too
was allowed to live there with his aunt and uncle's permission
so long as he also kept in touch with his parents so they knew
where he was. He agreed to it and was happy about having his own
space again. As for his identity of being a boy rather than a
girl, he kept that a secret when he signed up to rent a room and
lives in the girls' dorm hiding this very secret from the other
residents. He attends Juuban Municipal Academy taking honors
courses. While he had the opportunity given to attend Tsukuba
Academy, he decided to turn it down and feeling that Juuban
would be a better fit for him and hopes to get through his
school years with no problems. Only time will tell.
