Usegi Tsukishino
By: Keita Shibata Date: September 2, 2017, 2:56 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
NAME:
Usegi Tsukishino
DATE OF BIRTH:
June 30th
AGE:
15
GENDER:
Male
SEXUAL ORIENTATION:
Pansexual
OCCUPATION:
School Student - Juuban Municipal Academy | Ninth Grade
HOBBIES:
- Sleeping
- Reading Manga
- Eating (Sweets)
- Playing Video Games
- Shopping (for useless stuff he doesn't need)
POWERS/ABILITIES:
As the Knight of the Moon, Usegi's powers are based upon light
and purity. He can manifest this power to fight against enemies.
He doesn't require a henshin pen to transform. It is through
reciting the following phrase, "Knight of the Moon Transform"
that he can. A crescent moon appears on his forehead, and he
transforms into his Knight attire along with possessing a new
outlook. His powers include the following:
[li]Full Moon Shield - Holding out either hand, Usegi forms a
large crescent moon in front of him that bursts into a large
full moon to shield him and others against any attacks. He can
also use the moon by pushing it forward to knock enemies away or
launch it as a massive buzz-saw.[/li]

[li]Moonlight Reflection - To perform this attack, it
requires Usegi to hold the palm of his hands out in front of
him. He then fires silver laser lights out of them that are
directed towards his enemies attacks and reflected back to
them.[/li]

[li]Moonlight Silver Impact - This attack requires Usegi
to concentrate all of his powers into the palm of his hands and
then uses that power to strike his enemies. Silver light will
then shine around them and expand in a small wave of energy
towards the enemy or enemies are knocked away.[/li]

[li]Moonlight Purification Wave - A purification attack
that has the power to purify any target under the influence of
dark power. To use it, Usegi recites the following phrase to
call forth this power: "Power of the Moon! Let it Shine! My
Moonlight Purification Wave!". A large amount of Usegi's power
is summoned, encircling his body and an implosion occurs. The
power takes the form of flower petals by suspending individuals
in the air and moving them about in a circular motion. In a
flash of light, individuals are purified. This power takes a lot
out of Usegi and cannot be used multiple times due to his lack
of training.[/li]

APPEARANCE:
Usegi is a short young man that stands at the height of 5'6"
with short blonde hair that is parted to the left and shaded
with pink and he keeps the bangs out of his eyes with red bobby
pins. He has sky blue eyes. He has a peach-pale skin complexion
and is quite skinny, weighing at least 120lbs but of course,
Usegi considers that being at this particular weight, makes
someone like him fat when he’s not. He’s muscular and well-built
but self-conscious about his body, especially when it pertains
to someone that he likes. His ears are pierced and he paints his
nails with black nail polish along with having a rounded face
and eyes. As for his clothing, he’d usually wear something
that’s casual and comfortable as most boys would around his age.
He prefers simple things like t-shirts, pants, occasional
shorts, Capri jeans, tennis shoes and sandals. He has been known
to wear a dress or two but that is seriously when he’s in a good
mood to fool people to have them think he is a girl.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Usegi Tsukishino is the tallest twin out of him and his brother,
Jacob Tsukishino. While the two of them may be twins, they do
not share the same physical features, and they’re also very
different from one another. Usegi, from the time he was born up
to the age of fourteen, he’d been a bit of a hopeless romantic
crybaby. And he cried about every little thing imaginable,
whether it was about school or homework.
He was never much of a fighter either, especially when teased by
others. Though he would always chastise Jacob for getting into
disagreements with people, this often was ignored, of course.
This fact was clear when Jacob would always point out his
brother's failures and felt he had no right to tell him what he
shouldn't do. Yes, Usegi is an academic underachiever. His time
is spent eating or sleeping during class, which causes his
teachers to give him detention or mop duty. Usegi's also a klutz
as well. If he's not tripping over himself, he's tripping over
objects and other people.
He also can't cook either. His other siblings Aori, Derri, and
Jacob especially would rather eat what they fix for themselves
or what their mother Danielle prepares for them. They refuse to
eat anything Usegi attempts to make that never comes out looking
normal. While it may be a house full of boys with Derri and
Danielle being the only girls, Usegi cares deeply for his family
despite the hardships they go through. He wouldn't let anyone
hurt them for any reason.
He grew up with his siblings in the Azabu-Juuban district of
Tokyo, Japan. His mother Danielle is an American woman and the
mother of five children, the fifth being a child name Lucas
Kanejou. Derri is the oldest of them and tends to step up when
to play referee with her younger brothers. She's protective of
them but won't hesitate to put them in their place if need be.
Aori is the second oldest and tends to be the root cause of the
arguments between his younger brothers, namely Jacob. He likes
teasing both Usegi and Jacob and makes jokes about Derri having
a terrible body and that she'll never land a boyfriend. This
earns him a punch or a slap in the face by his sister.
Lucas doesn't live at home with the family but lives in the
dorms on the campus of Tsukuba Academy. He will come home and
spend time with his family. Even if it ends with him playing
video games with Aori and Usegi. At least it shows that Usegi
can get along with Aori when he's not annoying and Lucas when he
comes home. He does show respect to his sister Derri and is
always at odds with Jacob due to their contrasting personalities
and beliefs. He does love both of his parents despite them not
being together. His mother moved on in a way with Lucas's father
and Usegi's father remarried. The reason for the marriage was
due to his father Kane cheating on Danielle with another woman
which he admits to, and this woman became pregnant by him.
He doesn't view his father as a terrible person for what he did,
but it isn't something Usegi openly talks about with others. Not
that he is ashamed, but rather, unless asked, it isn't something
he divulges willingly in conversation with friends. He has met
his step-mother and siblings, but other than his step-mother,
his step-siblings aren't all that friendly. Much like Jacob,
they tend to dislike his overly excitable personality and the
simple fact that he puts too much trust into people. It is a
major flaw that Usegi has about himself. He believes that
everyone has good within them no matter who they are or their
past. He doesn't understand why Jacob sees people differently
but has never bothered to rack his brain on trying to figure it
out.
At least he doesn't have to worry about his cousins Ryo and
Yoshika judging him a lot based on his personality and choices.
They are the children of Danielle's twin sister Donna who are
also twins themselves and her only children. Ryo is a lot like
his mother, competitive. He would always challenge Jacob to a
fight to prove that he is stronger and better than him. Usegi
would stay out of it because of his dislike for confrontation
and would watch his brother and cousin fight one another.
Yoshika was calmer and less assertive. Overall, Usegi has quite
a large family assortment of those he gets along with and those
he doesn't that aren't by his choice.
Like any person, he makes mistakes. Which is why he doesn't hate
his father as much as Jacob does for his infidelity. Kane is
still their father, regardless of what he did. When life isn't
being a pain for him, Usegi does enjoy some quiet time reading
comic books and manga. If he isn't doing that, he's either
eating, playing video games, or shopping for junk he doesn't
need. But he can't help but splurge anytime he gets his
allowance. His personal life isn't a mystery. As it is clear
that he is bisexual and likes both girls and boys. While he may
find girls attractive and cute, the feeling is not mutual on
their end. Most of the time, deeming Usegi to be too much of an
idiot to date.
Usegi isn't against the idea of dating guys his age, but he sees
them more like friends to hang out with and not someone to date.
He has shown an interest in older guys, crushing on Hiroki
Takashi who is the manager at a local arcade. The only serious
relationship he had was with an older high school senior named
Yuki Shiba that attended Ashford Private Boys Academy. Usegi met
him by accidentally bumping into him and knocking the ice cream
cone he had onto his shirt. Yuki called him a blonde idiot for
not paying attention despite that Usegi apologized to him for
it.
Yuki was normally found hanging out at the arcade that Usegi
himself frequent at and it was there the two would often
interact more with each other. It didn't start great, but over
time, the two did develop an attraction towards one another.
Usegi being more open about his feelings than Yuki was about his
own. The relationship these two had was the only thing Usegi
kept to himself except for telling Jacob and Derri about it.
Jacob didn't care, and Derri just wanted Usegi to be careful. He
promised he would as he liked Yuki quite a lot. However, their
relationship was short-lived due to Yuki graduating from Ashford
and gaining a scholarship to study abroad in America.
It was after the most recent camping trip that Usegi discovered
this and Yuki finding it best that the two of them break up but
remain friends instead. He didn't think a long-distance
relationship would work between them, but he wanted to remain in
contact with the blonde and leave on good terms and not bad. It
saddened Usegi because he believed what they had was good and he
wanted to keep that, even if it was selfish. He agreed to remain
friends with Yuki and write letters to one another from time to
time. Usegi does wish him well in college, but it does show him
that things don't always last forever. It sucked, but he is
slowly moving on from it, even if he doesn't talk about it.
These days, he's focusing on being who he is and having fun.
There may be someone else for him out there, but a part of him
will hold a place for Yuki in his heart until that happens and
he can finally move on.
