Appearance Changes

Sometimes we want to appear differently. It's cool. Here's our
guide.
We offer 2 types of appearance change on SK:
- permanent;
- a Toggle Widget between 2 appearances.
Rules
Characters with racial class pre-requisites must appear as that
race. For example, Arcane Archers must be elven, Dwarven
Defenders dwarven.
Characters wanting small appearance creatures, e.g. goblins,
kobolds, etc., must start as a small race, such as Halfling.
If you are getting a Toggle Widget, one form MUST be humanoid
and you MUST be in humanoid form prior to PvP of any kind.
No invisible models.
Applications must be approved here before being implemented in
game. That includes a rational RP reasoning for the change. With
this comes acceptance of the positive and negative consequences
of playing a race within a Forgotten Realms setting.
DM discretion will be applied to any model change. If you turn
into a giant flying fish with laserbeams for eyes, it will be
backed out and the application process started again.
Process
To make a racial change, you will need three things:
[li]the appearance ID from appearance.2da. This can be found on
the Discord channel under the #2da-files channel and opens in
Notepad++;[/li]
[li]an approved application;[/li]
[li]a free DM.[/li]
Determining the appearance ID can be done by guesswork in the
2da file, or by using the CEP base module. Load it up, create a
new creature, then cycle through the appearance field. When you
have the appearance name, search for it in the appearance.2da.
This should give you a result in the 'LABEL' column. This will
then give the appearance ID in the # column.
Then use the following template for your application:
Character Name :
Player Login :
Type of Change : (permanent / toggle widget)
Appearance ID :
Appearance ID : (only use if requesting a toggle widget)
RP Reasoning :
The DMs will review the application and approve or reject (with
reasoning) within a couple of days.
