       Agaros Xamaroth - Spellcasting Under the Influence

       I can almost guarantee that you, dear reader, have experienced a
       hangover from overindulgence. Fewer, yet, still a large segment
       of the population has said, “I blacked out.” Having no memories
       of last night’s inebriation is troubling enough.
       Now, imagine for a moment that you are on the receiving end of
       the following: animated suits of armor, fireballs being thrown
       with reckless abandon, and one of your associates was turned to
       stone.
       Now, take this one step further. Imagine waking up to the
       aftermath. Imagine discovering that you were the cause of it and
       you must pay the consequences.
       We as spellcasters must be mindful as our will is our power. It
       is okay to enjoy a drink. It is not okay to become so
       intoxicated you are a threat to others.
       Always practice caution. Enjoy yourself with company, have
       someone keep an eye on you. Enter a zone of anti-magic or have a
       magic cancellation effect placed on you. Then indulge until you
       forget your own name. You’ll pay for the headache tomorrow, but
       that will be the worst of it.
