Hermione flinched as she stepped on a twig,
"Who's there!?" a voice demanded loudly. She cursed herself,
knowing her training should have kept her from doing stupid
things like that, and debating whether or not to reveal herself.

Fakir was not in the mood to deal with strangers hiding in the
brush. If they were going to be on his turf, they were going to
have to reveal themselves. "Show yourself!" he ordered.

"Uh..." Hermione said, stepping out from
behind the tree. "I was just watching and listening. I noticed
something was wrong... You know, dark magic." She felt so
sheepish under the gaze of so many, rather embarrassed to have
been cautiously behind a tree. From what she had heard, it
seemed like they'd be on the same side.
