Nevermore: Story Summary

This is a summary of the story up to approximately the point
that it has been written to, and will be updated by Moderators
when they get the chance:
Story Summary:
Chapter 1:
Edmund Pevensie started schooling to become a Knight, against
his will. His parents forced him to attend the academy after he
was hospitalized due to a street fight. Because of their
previous actions toward their son, Edmund holds much animosity
towards them. His outlook toward the world started to look
brighter when he met Link, his dormmate at the Academy. Link is
kind to Ed, and shows an interest that the young man isn't used
to. They became fast friends.
Shadowing them is the pixie, Tinkerbell. She has a special
affection for Link and keeps an eye on him whilst battling her
own emotions. One day, she spots the new knight Dean and his
girlfriend Tiana flying away on a Loftwing and followed them.
Once they dived under the clouds, she dared not go farther.
Instead, she found Link and told him of the danger.
Chapter 2:
Link and Ed followed Tink to the unstable Eldin Volcano, which
is covered in lava, thus making it incredibly hot. But they are
unable to do much, it is thanks to the stranger Zelda that they
find Dean and Tiana (Dean was attempting to propose to Tiana).
They escape of Loftwings and return to the academy.
In the castle, drama of another sort begins to unfold. The
princess Belle has been pressured by her mother into searching
for a husband, but Belle wants someone that is strong of heart
and mind, not just of muscle. Her mother suggests the academy
that is run close by, but Belle finds herself preferring the
knights in her book.
Edmund and Link return and Dean and Tiana feel the sting of
Link's tongue. They leave and are engaged soon after. However,
Link caught Ed staring at the passing princess and begins jibing
him. However, Edmund has a million excuses for why he has no
chance for wooing the princess, but that does not deter their
fairy friend. Tinkerbell returns to the castle and tells Belle
all about a certain Knight-in-training. Belle immediately jumps
at the chance of meeting the boy and searches out her mother.
Meanwhile, Edmund and Link get chewed out by the headmaster,
then return to their room to rest. Link stays up for guard duty,
where he draws a portrait of a certain fairy.
Belle explains her plan to Padme. She wanted to attend the
academy in disguise to find the boy that Tinkerbell had
described to her. Padme agreed on the term that the pixie would
stay with her, which suits Tinkerbell just fine. The next day,
Edmund enters the classroom to see Link talking to Tinkerbell
and sharing a drawing with her. He starts teasing him about it,
but is interrupted when he notices the new girl. Unknown to him,
she is Belle, who has altered her appearance slightly so that
she can attend the academy incognito. Thanks to magic, she is
also able to attend all the boys classes, where she witnesses an
exciting mock battle between Edmund and Link. Unfortunately,
Edmund has decided to keep his distance because he thinks Beya
has a crush on Link.
Chapter 3:
Somehow, Link manages to convince Edmund to give Beya a shot.
Link tries to give them an opportunity to get closer by skipping
class.While this has the desired effect, Link also misses the
teacher's announcement that the queen will be holding a ball. On
his way to the forest, he nearly knocks Dean and Tiana over. He
apologizes and hides in the forest with Tinkerbell for the rest
of the day. That evening, Link returns and thinks he's going to
be chewed out by Edmund. Edmund admits that he'll do it later
and that he was just waiting up to tell Link about the ball.
In the castle, Queen Padme receives her report from Tinkerbell
and asks the little pixie to tell Belle to come see her the next
morning. Belle obeys and informs the queen that she will be
going as Beya so as not to confuse Edmund, and that a servant
girl would be needed to play her at the ball. She returns to the
academy, knowing that they only have half a day of classes, then
they can get ready for the masquerade ball. Tiana spends this
time preparing the food because she is the caterer. The queen
sees her and has her changed into more suitable clothing so that
she can attend the ball, instead of standing behind a table.
When her fiance arrives, they dance.
In another part of the room, the queen made the night even
better by enchanting Tinkerbell so that she was the size of a
human. She and Link dance, and almost kiss, but the spell ends
and Tinkerbell flys away, mortified. Link chases her and assures
her that his feelings are true, no matter what her size.
It doesn't take Edmund long to spot Belle and ask her to dance.
They dance right out of the ball and into the courtyard beyond,
where they stay until Tinkerbell is sent to retrieve them at the
end of the evening. They end up talking in his room for hours on
end, which, when Link returns, stops him from entering the room,
and leaves false notions in his head. The next morning, Dean
had stayed in Tiana's room, and when she wakes he freaks out and
is almost literally pushed out the door. He finds Link sleeping
on the ground and follows him back to his dorm room and watches
as Ed sets him straight.
Belle visited her mother early before school to let her know
that things were going well with Edmund. The queen is pleased
and happy that her daughter had finally found someone that stood
up to her standards.
Chapter 4:
The next morning, Belle and Edmund meet and are lost in their
own lovey dovey world. They walk into class and meet Fakir, a
new transfer student. Belle explains that he's a noble, and
after the class ended, she went over and made friends with him.
This makes Edmund jealous, but it is short lived seeing as Belle
easily attached herself to him when she and Fakir re-entered the
group.
Meanwhile, the headmaster found out that Dean spent the night in
Tiana's room and he was banished from the school grounds. When
Tiana comes to see him, he makes her promise that she won't
leave the school.
Link and Co. quickly learn that Fakir doesn't like formalities.
They also learned that he was fair with a sword, giving all of
them a run for their money, though it was nothing compared to
the duel that happened between Link and Edmund the day before.
By the end, all were exhausted.
The next day, Dean left a note for Tiana and he returned to his
home. Edmund didn't sleep well, which made Belle worry. Belle
asks Tink for her advice about revealing her station to Edmund,
and the fairy convinces her to wait. It turns out that Edmund
has a feeling that something is being kept from him, and Belle
questions her decision. When Tiana finds Dean's note, she
searches for him frantically, and fruitlessly. She runs to
Dean's room, Tink not far behind.
It turns out that when Dean moved out a boy named Darien moved
in. Tiana leaves, heartbroken.
When Dean reaches his home, he doesn't expect to learn that a
girl named CeCe rented a room in the house.
Meanwhile, Padme meets with her long travelling son, Ali, and he
decides that he wants to enroll at the school to get to know his
sister's new beau. He decides to call himself Aladdin. When he
and his sister meet again, Belle is surprised to the point of
being speechless. They keep their relationship a secret.
Sherlock and John enroll at the school.
Fakir, having trouble with a class, decides to visit his
elementary rival, whom he knows also enrolled at the school. Her
name is Hermione Granger, and she is very surprised to see him.
Aang, a secret airbender, also enrolled at the school and is
excited for classes, but lonely and scared someone will discover
his secret.
Chapter 5:
*Fakir got help from Hermione with his homework. Afterward,
Hermione met Sherlock. She doesn't particularly like him.
CeCe met Dean and sat in her room while Dean talked to his
parents.
Sherlock offers to help a hysterical Tiana look for Dean. While
he's asking her question, Edmund has a epiphany and flys off. He
goes to Dean's house and is about to knock on the door when CeCe
stops him.
Meanwhile, Sherlock insulted Tiana and got slapped by Ali. Tiana
drills the unnecessarity of his actions into the prince's mind.
Sherlock explains to John how he knew about his past, and John
is amazed and impressed, surprising Sherlock.
Belle decides to go visit her mother, and Edmund is told he is
summoned by the Queen.
Aang meets Fakir as he asks where Hermione is. Fakir goes to
look for her in the mess hall, inviting Aang along. Aang
follows, and they exchange names, and silently see the other is
lonely, but Aang is slightly nervous about revealing the fact
that he's the last airbender on accident. They find Hermione in
the library, and Fakir brings up a Percy Jackson reference, and
both Aang and Hermione get slightly nervous due to each of their
secrets. When Hermione and Aang shake hands, they get an
unexpected shock, and both wonder if it's because of their
hidden abilities. Hermione asks Fakir when he had made friends
so easily, and Fakir responds casually.
Fakir then asks Hermione to duel with her, since
he's bored, and she accepts, and Aang follows, excited to have
people who might be friends, and ready for some entertainment.
Tiana then finds Sherlock, and gives him a letter, asking
him to take it to Dean. Sherlock is about to reply skeptically,
but John intervenes, says he will and then introduces himself to
Tiana. Sherlock grudgingly says he will take the letter to Dean,
and asks John if he has a loftwing. When John says he doesn't
have a loftwing, they both look to Tiana, and Sherlock states
rather bluntly that they need a means of transport to deliver
the letter. After the two of them arguing, and John finding out
about Loftwings, Tiana gets upset, and John tells her he would
deliver the letter personally. John then asks Sherlock if he has
a plan, and Sherlock condescendingly says yes. They find Molly
(whom has a crush on Sherlock) and Sherlock gets her to fly them
on her loftwing to Dean's house so John can deliver the letter.
Edmund meets the Queen and doesn't meet her eyes, wondering why
he'd been summoned.
Chapter 7:
CeCe answers the door and John feels slightly intimidated.
Fakir and Hermione's match ensues. Hermione battles, using the
motions as if they were spell movements for her wand, and Fakir
plans to take advantage, all watched by Aang. Fakir disarms
Hermione fairly quickly, and they then decide to go visit
Hagrid, the groundskeeper for the school.
CeCe takes the letter, slams the door in John's face, and throws
the letter away. Sherlock tells John she wasn't going to deliver
the letter and makes a plan to sneak in to get the letter and
deliver it.
Edmund and Belle wait nervously outside the Queen's room,
waiting for an answer, while Edmund has no idea what is going
on.

Fakir noticed it, no good sorcerer worth his gum could miss it.
She wasn't wielding a sword, not in her mind, and he could
easily use that to his advantage.
