Edmund nodded and darted out. He slid down the banister and was
at Fakir's door in minutes. He heard even breathing from inside,
so he didn't bother knocking. Inside he saw Fakir spread out on
his bed. He walked up to him and started poking.

Karon turned to the two boys as the others filed out. He pointed
at Sherlock. "You had better learn to think before you act. I
saw what happened downstairs, and you're lucky that the only
thing that broke was a lightbulb."

Duck nodded with far more determination than was necessary to
get some water and raced out the door bouncy as ever. She ran
with her braid flying to the caf', grabbed a glass when no one
was looking filled it with water, and started her precarious
trip back up the stairs. With only one or two splashes, she made
it back to the office.

(Hey everyone! I'm new to this so I'm sorry if my writing sucks
;D )
He muttered silently in his chamber. He could sense them all,
escaping. He smiled silently to himself. This could be his
chance. He didn't want to expose his true intentions, but in his
mind it was now or never. Aladdin wouldn't be happy when he
discovered Jack's treachery, but what did it matter? Jack was a
con master by nature so he considered his ability a bonus that
would only be used when the situation called for it.

The room was dark all except for the dim light of the bedside
lamp. The young boy sat on his bed with a book in his hands not
having to squint. Even though the light wasn't very strong and
despite the fact that his eyes required glasses, he had sharp
eyes and was able to read without a problem. However he was
finding it particularly hard to concentrate that afternoon. He
knew that something was going on outside his room, but he knew
that if he dared to leave the safety and comfort of his own
room, he'd regret it. Uryu sighed. Ever since he'd come to live
in the mansion after escaping the experimentalists, he'd thought
about leaving. He was normally patient and collected, but
recently he'd become restless. After having been driven out of
his home he couldn't bear to think of calling this place home so
soon. His anxiety was growing, but he knew the dangers of
leaving. So he sat back and adjusted his glasses and continued
reading.

(F course you didn't! You write way better than me, haha ;) )
Sinbad looked around. It seemed that merry group that
had been here a while ago now went somewhere else. And it wasn't
good. He couldn't help feeling that something isn't right. What
could it be? Sinbad stood up and started walking, thinking
deeply about this problem. He passed some red head kid, few
people he remembered from th cafeteria and suddenly, he saw Erza
walking to a chamber.
'Ah, I know. I still don't have a room.'
'Why all of these people are so slow?' - murmured Yomi
with impatience. There was a lot of people in the cafeteria and
she couldn't just run past them like a breeze, because she was
afraid she would hit somebody. In that case, she couldn't just
run to her room and she really wanted to get to know better this
funny boy who she was sharing room with.
'Aah, what a bother!' - she whispered to herself and
ran through the middle of the cafeteria, trying not to hit
anybody. Hopefully, she did not.

Fakir groaned and rolled over. The finger persisted. "Stop other
I'll bite it off."
"Karon wants you. Now," Edmund's voice said.
Fakir got up and walked out the door, up the stairs, and into
the office to see Karon thank Duck for some water. "Fakir," the
grey haired man said. "We need your helpnremoving these cuffs."

it Karon?" she said puzzled. He was so very good at metal craft.

His footsteps echoed down the corridor as he strode along. He
was in search for Aladdin to tell him that the experiments were
"escaping". Aladdin knew his power of being able to sense other
people who had abilities so it'd be no use to pretend otherwise.
Jack could have just sent a telepathic message but that would
take away from the pleasure of the search.

Her mind was in a panic. She couldn't move due to the restraints
that held her to the wooden table. They experimentalists had
discovered Toph's powers when they had set her on a metal table
and almost allowed her to escape. Now that they had removed
anything that she could bend to her will they were ready to,
well . . . experiment on her.
