"Good intuition" Darien stated with a nod of his head at Merida
at looking at the door waiting for his son to walk through.

Aang sent a blast of air after the thief as a
last effort, and did a bit of earth bending, but the crook had
already disappeared. Then he heard alarms ringing. The vault, he
thought. And suddenly, there were guards on all sides of him,
arresting him for "Stealing from their Majesties." Before he
could do anything to get away, his hands were bound and his
staff had been confiscated. Great, he thought, Now I'm being
arrested for trying to CATCH the thief. He was mostly upset that
he had failed in his mission. At least, he had for the time
being. He had to find the organization that had been slowly
stealing from the King and Queen's vault, as well as other
places. He was thrown into one of the cells in the palace
dungeon unceremoniously, his hands still bound. He was told that
he would be seeing the King and Queen in the morning and be
under trial. Let's just hope Iro gets the word before anything
bad happens, Aang thought.

Edmund heard the guard before he saw him. "You've been summoned,
your highness."
He hurriedly made himself presentable and walked briskly to the
throne room. He entered to see his parents talking easily to a
red-head.

"Your Majesty," Merida said bowing as Edmund entered the room.
She wasn't a fan of all of the pomp that was necessary in a
castle (part of why she liked serving Princess Lucy the best,
for the most part, she refused to be treated better than her
servants), but as long as she was allowed to project her
kingdom, shoot arrows, and remain herself - she'd put up with
it.

"Come on," said Lucy. "Let's get you changed and briefed."
"Briefed?" Duck questioned.
"Ahiru, you have to know what your duties are to preform them,"
Lucy laughed.

Jack flew and with a stroke of luck found Sherlock in a carriage
bumping along the road. He pondered what he could do, beside
follow them. He decided to just do that for now, plans about how
to follow Moriartiy's instructions forming in his icy head.

Sherlock directed the carriage as they entered
the city province. "Baker's street," he said, "House number 221"

Darien stood up and looked down at his son, "Edmund, you have
been summoned to inform you that you are being betrothed."

Aladdin let out a sigh of relief. He couldn't believe his luck!
Not only had he avoided capture, he had witnessed ANOTHER fool
get captured for his own crime! He gave Abu a high-five and
slowly headed back to continue the job his master had given him.
Simple reconaissance, grabbing a special item here and there
when the opportunity presented itself.

Aang sighed as the sun slowly set. Then he
suddenly thought: Appa! If he could simply get the bison whistle
out of his pocket... He writhed and moved. He could just be
thankful for his hands being bound in front. He couldn't bend
very well with them bound (not that he could bend the metal of
his cells anyway) BUT if he could summon Appa, he should be able
to come to his rescue. Got it! He lifted the whistle to his lips
and blew. It made it's normal "almost no-noise" sound, that only
animals could hear the super high-pitched sound.

Abu stopped mid-step and clamped his hands over his ears.
Aladdin turned back. "Abu? What's wrong?" the monkey simply
shook his head and continued walking, the annoying sound having
stopped.

A loud groan told Aang Appa had gotten here. He
ran up to the window. "Appa!" and suddenly there was a large,
white bison face at the window. "Can you get me outta here,
boy?" he asked quietly. He really wished he didn't have to
escape, but there was no other choice. Appa groaned in a sort of
"yes" and butted the bars, which came off with a rather loud
cracking and groaning. Glancing hastily behind him, Aang barely
squished through the window, and leaped onto Appa's back. "Yip,
yip!" he cried, and they soared into the sky, Appa powering with
his large beaver-like tail. As soon as they had taken off, Aang
quickly bent some air and water in the clouds to keep the
covered. "Appa," he whispered, "You have better eyes than eye.
Look for a man with black hair and a monkey. In the city," Appa
groaned back in consent, and they flew quiet and high over the
city, with the cloud disguising them.

Sherlock climbed out of the carriage as it
bumped to a stop, and John hopped out behind him. Without
further ado, Sherlock strode directly into his house, and went
into his "lab" (which happened to be the kitchen table) and
immediately took out the chocolaty brown hair, examining it
under his higher-powered lens, and with all his viles with
strange concoctions. About half an hour or more, later, while
John paced and read and paced some more, Sherlock exclaimed,
"Got it!" John stopped what he was doing, and swiftly made his
way over to Sherlock. "What?" he asked. Sherlock kept looking
through his lens. "The hair," he muttered. "And?" John prompted
anxiously. "A monkey's," Sherlock said, finally taking his eyes
away to look at John. "Somehow, a monkey did this. But, he
probably had a master who helped him," Sherlock finished, deep
in thought.
