Hermione refrained from rolling her eyes.
Apparently, the investigations for the day have finished up and
now it was yet again her duty to run an errand. She was
security. This was not a security guard's duty. But, resignedly,
she motioned the Consulting Detective and his friend the way to
the stables where the horses and carriages were placed.

"Thank you!" Duck repiled extactic and amazed, "If you're sure I
won't be an imposition. Thank you so much! This means so much to
me!" She had started to ramble, when the Princess and Belle had
returned.
"And what is it you are so thankful for, Ahiru?" Lucy asked
kindly.

There, she met one of the carriage drivers.
"You've gotten word from the Prince and Princess that these are
the only two allowed in or out of the castle either this evening
or tomorrow?" Hermione asked abruptly. The driver nodded at her
high-ranked Guard suit and motioned for the two to get in the
carriage.

Sherlock climbed carefully and with precision and
dignity into the carriage. John hopped up behind him.

Moriarty heard the voice of his frosty little pet
behind him. He closed his eyes, a small evil, satisfied smile
playing across his face. Turning, he said boyishly, "Oh, nothing
I've just got a little job for you Jack. You are so very
adorable when you're working for me, aren't you?" He asked, his
menacing mischievous grin spreading like an evil infestation
across his face.

"Merida here is going to see if she can get me a job. And a
place to stay until then," Duck said both meekly and chipper all
at once.
"That is very kind of her, however, it is unnecessary as, if you
so desire, you may have a job here in palace. As my personal
handmaiden," Lucy said.
"But you said-" Duck spouted confused.
"It was a test, Ahiru. The job I am offering you, is one more of
substance than of stature."
Merida stood there dumbfounded. She was happy, because Ahiru
would be staying in the castle, but....

Jack glared up at Moriarty. He hated his captor, but the more he
hated him, the more Moriarty seemed to love it. He could not
win.
The boy blinked, his face becoming solid, without emotion. "What
would you have me do?" he asked, detached as possible.
This only seemed to make him more exuberant, "Your just tooooooo
fun!" the dark man practically squealed.
Then his voice suddenly changed, it became dark, serious and
sinister. It sent chills down Jacks frozen spine. "There is a
someone new, someone fun! He's playing my little game right now,
but he'll start to see the bigger picture soon." Then Moriarty
laughed in high-pitched manic delight. "Make sure he doesn't.
Keep him on his toes, won't you Jack. Play with him, make it
seem more clever than it is. Use his pet, that'll get him!"

Sherlock gazed rather placidly out of the carriage
window as they bumped along the road. He gritted his teeth,
afraid one of the extremely important pieces of evidence might
be dislodged. He heard a large moan/roar, and his attention
perked. He narrowed his eyes, but, he decided it seemed
irrelevant to his investigation, and was probably just some
creature in the forest by the castle. He saw his and John's home
come into sight, and leaped nimbly out of the carriage, not even
glancing back to see if John was coming. He strode through the
door and straight to his lab, whipping out the bottle of poison
from his pocket as he walked, ready to begin his investigations.

Edmund heard it. He was most definitely not deaf. In fact, it
was the farthest thing from. He pointed at the maid, still in
her pretty party dress. "Run laps around the castle till I say
stop."

(I haven't been reading this one for a couple chapters so if I'm
doing something wrong just tell me because I have NO clue what's
going on anymore! Becca just said she needed one of my
characters for this)
Darien sat in his throne thinking to himself. He knew he had to
make the announcement but he thought back to when his parents
betrothed him and just couldn't force marriage onto someone
else.

Jack nodded and flew off to find this Sherlock. He knew what the
dectiective looked like, just not where to find him.

She had a feeling the Kind and Queen would want to talk to her.
