Sherlock cut in and told them who Link was, and that
he was on a quest to save a friend. He paused when the
grey-brown eyes looked expectantly at him. "I don't think I want
to trust you yet," Sherlock said bluntly. John cut in before
Sherlock did too much damage. "We've been being chased by these
experimentalists who want to experiment..." John stopped at a
look from Sherlock. It wasn't too wise to go ratting off about
their powers. John continued, trying to cover up the sticky
moment, "We were caught by them, actually," Sherlock huffed,
looking very offended and disgruntled about the fact. "But we
managed to escape." John held up the hand with the dangling,
broken handcuff, and gestured at Sherlock's. "After my daring
escape plan," Sherlock muttered quietly, and John frowned. The
boy smiled, and looked like he was trying not to laugh. Maybe he
wasn't threatening after all...
Aang's mind and face cleared upon the mention of
"experimentalists." He knew all too well who they were. They
must have powers, but he understood why they didn't want to
mention them to him. As the black-haired man had so bluntly
mentioned, they weren't so sure about the trust issue. Aang's
mouth hadn't even open to speak when the boy with the curly
black hair answered his question. "As to how we got here: We
came toward the clearing, hoping for a place to hide from the
experimentalists. We walked in with some... strange
repercussions. But we're here all the same." Aang nodded, his
mind now clear about how they got here. They had had strange
things because of the pager thing. Now confident, Aang smiled
his full, bright, smile dawning on his face. "I'm Aang. This is
a home and school for people with... abilities," he said the
last word with some weight, and the tall boy with his intense
blue eyes straightened, his face clearing with enlightenment.
"You can stay here, and live here if you have such abilities,"
Aang said, with a knowing twinkle in his eyes. The boy raised
one arched eyebrow, and Aang felt like those piercing blue eyes
were scanning him. "But I--" "Black-hair" interrupted, "need to
get her some help, rest, eccetra," he sighed, bored. "Let's go
in then," the shorter boy with golden blond hair said, looking
hopeful.

(is John the shorter, blonde haired boy?)
Link nodded. Some food would be nice...he could hear his stomach
grumbling. Tinkerbell frowned and crossed her arms, but motioned
that they should follow the others. Link nodded again to her and
trailed behind the group helping the girl inside.

(yes... i was thinking Link had blond hair and John's was a
light golden-brown)
Aang smiled, excited to meet new people with abilities
nd gestured for them to follow him, smiling knowingly at Link's
grumling stomach. He was himself after expending so much energy
creating that whirlwind storm. "So... do you three have any...
special... abilities?" Aang asked casually, carefully.
Sherlock observed the boy supporting the girl
carefully as they walked inside themansion. He knew quickly what
had happened. Due to his light, aerodynamic atire, and the wind
that had been blowing, this boy could control air. He must had
to stop her when she was in an uncontrollable rage before she
hurt someone. According to these deductions, the boy's
personality (which he also figured our part of just from the few
minutes they'd been talking) and the fact that this... Aang
seemed to be telling the truth. He decided, that atleast for the
time being, this place, these people could be... not yet
trusted, but accepted. "My name is Sherlock Holmes," Sherlock
said, answering the boy's question. John shot him an alarmed
look, but Sherlock gave John a look of his own, communicting the
gist of what he had just figured out. His face cleared and he
nodded slightly back. Sherlock continued, My friend here is John
Watson," Aang's eyebrows rose. "Colleague," John interupted,
scowling slightly. Shelock kept talking as though John hadn't
spoken. "I can make shield force fields, anf John can control
and produce fire," Aang then looked expectantly at Link.

Link motioned for everyone to stand clear and he drew his sword.
He held it up and it began to glow. He then did a whirlwind move
and sliced the sword horizontally in the direction of some trees
in the distance. A glowing beam in the form of a sword slice
shot out and chopped the trees clean off.
Tinkerbell then flitted up to Aang and looked him up and down.
...And I'm his navigator. We are going to save princess Zelda.
(You can choose whether or not Aang can understand her. For the
record, it would be easier to have Tink communicate Link's
thoughts/feelings with another character who can voice for her.)

(sure he can. He can communicate w/ animals {i know
tink isn't an animal, but you know... it hard to explain, the
whole commication thing w/ things that normal people can't
hear?}... and aang just feels like a person who would be able
to}
Aang focused upon the little dot of light, and
saw a tiny fairy. He heard a faint tinkling voice say And I'm
his navigator. We are going to save princess Zelda. He smiled
and nodded. "We better go check in with Karon first," Aang said,
"Then we can head down to the kitchens and grab a snack,"

Link raised his eyebrows, surprised. Out of everyone he met
outside of Faron Woods, not one could seem to understand Tink.
This boy must have some sort of special ability, he thought to
himself.
Padme's ears perked up. Karon! Where had she heard that name
before...?

Aang lead the way up the stairs, to Karon's
office, where Belle stood, anxiously telling him what was
happening. Upon their entry, Belle whipped around and Karon
looked up, his eyebrows raised slightly at the three new people
entering the room with Aang.

Aang squeezed the poor girl's shoulder reassuringly,
"Nothing except slam me into the wall. But I'm find. What
matters is that I was able to break your phaze in time. In fact,
you're probably the least fine of us all," he said, as she
sagged slightly, nearly collapsing to the floor. "Why don't you
sit down?" Karon asked her kindly, pointing to the chair near
his desk. He turned his gaze back to Sherlock, John and Link and
raised an eyebrow at Aang. Aang nodded at the headmaster of the
mansion, home and school. "They got into the clearing. They each
have a special ability. This is Sherlock, and he can make force
field shields, this is John and he can produce and control fire,
and this is Link, and he has a fairy friend and a special sword
of some sort."

Link stood proudly at the mention of his name, and Tinkerbell
upped the glow factor.
Padme sat down quietly and took gratefully the cheese and
crackers offered by Belle.
