(Sherlock's and John's powers won't work if
they're more than 2 miles away from each other)
Sherlock and John turned around, looking into
the clearing Link was gazing at. Sherlock squinted, but all he
saw was a blank meadow. John raised an eyebrow. "There?" he
asked Link, gesturing at the clearing.

Aang answered Padme's question. "There's about a
hundred of us here. It doesn't take long before you know
everyone." he said brightly. Then he suddenly grew serious,
"There aren't many of us here. Those who escaped the
experimentalists, and not too many find their way here.
Sometimes we have to seek them out."

Link gave the man a look that said "I don't know, let's find
out!" and headed toward the clearing.
Padme grew sad, and thought of all the people who were
different, made to suffer and die alone. The emotions were too
much for her, and she began to change. Sparks flew from her
hair, and within minutes her entire body had changed into its
crystalline structure. Her voice was hollow and dark. "They will
pay." She walked slowly down the hallway, making her way to the
front door.

Aang stepped back, and starting airbending without
even realizing it. "Belle!" Aang yelled, worried. "We have to
stop her! She could hurt someone!" The two of them ran after the
blue girl before she reeked havoc upon everyone. "Belle, someone
has to tell Karon!"

Sherlock shrugged and followed the green clad boy
and John followed next to him. John was quite curious to find
out what was up with this apparently empty clearing.

Padme turned back to the sound of Aang's voice and, using
telekinesis, rammed him against the wall. Her eyes were hollow
and unforgiving. She then turned back and walked outside, just
in time to see three individuals walking toward the clearing.

Aang's breath got knocked out of him, but he didn't
care. Wheezing, he stood on his feet. "I have to go," he said to
Belle, determined, the hidden galantry coming out of the goofy
young boy. Clicking his glider, he took to the air, and speedily
went after Padme. He would not let her hurt anyone. He had had
states such as this before, though he rarely hurt any of his
friends, or innocents He quickly saw her as he flew out the
front door which she had blasted open. His eyes widening, he saw
three individuals heading straight for the mansion... and Padme.
He didn't know who they were but he wouldn't let them get hurt.
Diving down, he landed in front of Padme, and began airbending,
creating a tornado of air around her that no one could get
through. He rose into the air, wind swirling around him.
"Padme!" he called, "I know what you're going through! I know
it's hard and I know you're angry! We're fighting, though! But
attacking random people will just do more harm! Don't do this!
The time will come when we can save others! You have a family
now! You don't need to hurt anyone!" Padme paused, her form
becoming slightly less brilliant as she took in Aang's moving
words.
(Aang can be a very moving speaker when he
needs/wants to)

The three covered their heads as a sudden wind
started blowing, shaking the trees. As they neared, their brains
became befuddled. Sherlock felt confused, which rarely happened.
He felt like he should turn around, like he was going the wrong
way. He narrowed his eyes, both against the impulse and the
wind. His curiosity was winning out. He was becoming more
curious as the strange impulse grew. John's face became blank,
"Maybe we should go back..." he murmured. Link seemed just as
confused.
(Becca said that anyone w/out a pager would get confused upon
nearing the clearing and want to turn around)

Padme's body suddenly collapsed as she took her normal form. As
the wind died down around her, she tried to get up, ultimately
failing. When she was finally able to lift her head, she was
sorry she did. It was pounding like a hammer. She looked around.
Where was she? Outside, yes. There were trees and grass. Why was
she here? What had happened...?
The young boy flying over her jogged her memory slightly. There
was a mansion, and a girl with wings...
Link faltered. What was this? from out of nowhere a glowing blue
moving crystal statue of a woman, then a gust of wind, then a
normal girl? He didn't know whether to freak out and run or
applaud at the magic trick.

Aang came toward her. He had experienced a very
similar thing, when his arrows lit up, he became something new.
He still had some control, and he could remember what he did,
but it was hard to fight when you were so angry. He also
understood her exhaustion. He was a bit tired himself from that
show. Aang held out his hand to her, a gentle expression on his
face. "It will be okay," he said quietly. "We all started
without much, but we came here and then we had a family." He
pulled her off the ground carefully, and held her steady as her
legs nearly gave out under her. "Let's get you back. Get you
something to eat and some rest." For such a spunky, goofy kid he
showed great kindness and gentleness toward the other girl. They
walked slowly back toward the mansion, Aang glancing over his
shoulder worriedly at the three people nearly in the clearing.
Why weren't they turning around? Hadn't Karon made sure that
people without a pager would get confused?

As Sherlock touched the edge of the clearing, he gasped
and shuddered, and suddenly fell forward, dizzy. He looked up,
feeling sick. He almost never felt sick. The meadow was no
longer wild. It was neat and cropped grass. And more important,
it was no longer empty. A boy and a girl walked slowly back
towards the huge building, the boy holding up the weak girl.
What was going on?

When John saw Sherlock fall over, his confusion and
befuddlement was banished. "Sherlock!" he called as he ran
toward the other boy. Sherlock pretty much never lost his
balance. It had looked almost like he had gone through some sort
of fit. The he hit the same point of trees. He understood then
why Sherlock had fallen over. He too shuddered, and felt sick
and dizzy as he fell forward onto... cropped grass? After
closing his eyes for a minute, John looked around. They were on
a neatly cropped lawn, and a huge mansion loomed before them.
What had happened? How had they not seen that before?
"Sherlock," John murmured, his queasiness slowly dissipating.
"Where are we?" he asked his friend as he slowly sat up to keep
his head from spinning.

Link walked slowly over to the boy and girl. Was he imagining
things? No, he didn't think so. The boy turned around and gave
him a funny look. Link could only look back in response, being
unable to speak. He walked over until he was within arm's reach,
then reached over and gave the boy a poke. Yup, he was real
alright.
Padme looked to the three strangers with confusion. "Do they
live here too?"

"No," Aang said, thoroughly confused... and a bit
scared. They didn't seem threatening, but how had they gotten
in?

Sherlock and John stood up slowly, and made
their way toward the two as well. "Where are we?" John asked,
shaking his head slightly.

Aang ignored the question. "Who are you? How did
you... get in here?"

Link drew his sword and started writing in the ground.
L-I-N-
He was cut off by one of the other guys, who explained who Link
was and that he could not speak.
Padme tried her best not to lean too much on...Aang! THAT was
his name. The memories staring coming back, slowly.
