Belle smiled, hiding her surprise unsuccessfully. The girl
turned a crystalline blue... How was she suppose to compete with
that!? "Uh..." she said, "how do you do that?"

Padme's smile turned serious. "I don't know...I've been trying
to figure it out. It's not just my eyes either...sometimes my
entire being becomes...blue crystal...and I emit some sort of
energy that the people chasing me want."

Sherlock and John ran, holding hands. "Now people
are going to definitely talk!" John yelled. "Sh!!" Sherlock said
harshly as they leaped over barrels in the streets, the
handcuffs holding them. John stumbled, a little behind Sherlock,
being dragged on by their unbreakable silver bond between their
wrists. "Sherlock! We're going to need to coordinate!" he
hissed. "Ok." Sherlock said, slowing down and glancing behind
him. He looked around quickly. "In here!" he said, pulling John
with him into a side shed of the alley. "What do we do now?"
John breathed. "Wait," Sherlock replied in an undertone, and
gestured for him to be quiet.

Link jumped, startled. What was that noise? He looked around,
Tink buzzing around his head. Two whispered voices sent him
running behind the nearest tree, slipping and falling in the
process.
"Aaaah!" THUMP.
The voices stopped, and the green-garbed boy felt two pairs of
eyes on him.

They heard footsteps. Sherlock and John tried not to
breath. Had they found them? Sherlock mouthed silently at John,
"I'm going to make an invisible field." John nodded back, just
as quiet. Sherlock narrowed his eyes, concentrating. He made a
small, impenetrable and invisible, and, for the moment,
sound-proof bubble around them. They listened to the footsteps,
and breathed a little easier, knowing that they couldn't be
heard. Garbled voices came back to their ears and then the
footsteps died away. They waited for several minutes, which felt
like hours. "Ok..." Sherlock whispered, even though he knew no
one could hear them. "Let's go." John followed him. "Where
are we going?" he asked. Sherlock shook his head, "I don't know.
I can't think of anywhere safe enough." John scowled, "What
about somewhere we can get these bloody handcuffs off?"

(ok, we'll just say that that was the past, and
they'll run out of the town into the forest, cuz they hope it's
safer, and then they'll run into Link, and knock him down
because they think he might be one of the experimentalists)
"Let's go to the woods," Sherlock panted as they
walked down the dark alley, glancing nervously about, their
wrists aching from the chafing handcuffs. "It's the safest bet.
They'll be knocking down everyone's doors, seeing if someone
took in two 'helpless teenagers.' And they'll be scouring the
town." John nodded, "Let's go. It's not like we'll be cold." he
said. Sherlock smiled knowingly, "And we can maybe use a rock or
a tree to at least seperate these cuffs. They looked at each
other, communicating silently, and then broke into a run,
slipping down one side of the alley, and heading towards the
woods.
Minutes later, they headed deeper into the woods. Near
a clearing, they stopped. "Let's stay hear," John said, glancing
around. "I can make a fire easily enough. There's a rock there
we can use," John said, nodding towards the rock. "On three."
John said, and they both held out their hand over the sharp
rock. "One... two... three!" They both brought their hands down
simultaneously and with a Snap! the cuffs broke in the middle.
"Well," Sherlock said, "That's a bit better," he rubbed
his wrist, where the broken handcuff still jangled. "Fire
please, John?" Sherlock asked expectantly. John nodded. Grabbing
several brittle dry sticks, he threw them roughly together. He
bent down, put his hand next to the wood, and from his hand
burst a small amount of flame, and the sticks immediately caught
on fire. He glanced around, making sure they were well hidden
in the bushes and the trees, and controlling the fire so there
would be little smoke. "Well, this should keep us warm for the
night." John said. "Shh!" Sherlock said. John gave him an
annoyed and offended look. "I heard something." Sherlock
explained in a quiet whisper. John heard it then too. A foot
step crunch. They subconciously drew closer together, looking
towards the source of the sound. "I've got a plan," Sherlock
said, creeping away. "Sherlock!" John hissed. Sherlock got
close to the person, whom he saw leap behind a tree. He
concetrated, and John saw a small power spasm in a bubble burst
around Sherlock, and flew outward, and with a muffled yell, he
heard the person near their temporary campsite fall to the
ground with a thunk. John ran towards Sherlock and they both
looked down at the green-clad stranger.

Link looked up at the two strangers in fear.
Tinkerbell, however, flew up close to one of them and shook her
fist, yelling at them. Of course, all that they could hear were
bells, but Link smiled inwardly at how ready the little fairy
was to help him.

"Who are you?" John demanded, ignoring th angry dot
of light. "Are you another experimentalist?" John asked, his
eyes narrowed. "If you are, this might not end too well..." John
said threateningly as he held out his hand and a ball of fire
burst into existence in the thin air above his out-stretched
fingers.

Link's eyes widened at the fire, and his earrings suddenly
glowed red. (he gets a pair of red earrings in Skyward Sword
that protect him from fire) He shook his head "no", and the
little pixie crossed her arms.
