"I'm not sure that's possible, but thanks." They sat in silence
for a while, and Edmund regained his composure. He stood up,
coughed, and smiled charmingly at his sister. "I say we go have
some fun."

Hermione smiled. "You like books?" she asked
excitedly.

Sherlock looked up carelessly at the two people
standing by his table. "Mike," Sherlock said. Mike nodded. Then
at John, "Do you mind the violin?"

John narrowed his eyes. "Violin? What?"
"I play the violin when I'm thinking. Would that
bother you?"
John looked over at Mike. "You-- told him about me?" He
asked. Mike shook his head, a smirk on his face. "Not a word."
"Then... who said anything about room mates?"
"I did." Sherlock said simply.

Lucy's eyebrow quirked. It was still very early in the morning.
And he had no invited her to do anything in a very long time,
but the look on his face was just too impossible to resist. She
jumped up, her eyes twinkling now too, "Why not?"

John merely looked his confusion.
"Well, earlier this morning I mentioned to
Mike that I must be a difficult man to find a room mate for, and
here he shows up for breakfast with someone who is obviously an
old colleague." Sherlock explained, to a slightly shocked John.
"If that's all you want to know," Sherlock continued, "I'd
better be going,"
John chuckled, "So that's it, then? We've only
just met and we're going to go become room mates."
Sherlock turned back. "Problem?"
"We don't know a thing about each other. I
don't know where your room is. I don't even know your name."
John put in.
"I know your parents don't want you, because
you're too adventurous; I know that they sent you here for that
reason, and are afraid you'll get into trouble; I know that you
had a falling out with your brother, probably because he left
his girlfriend, and I know you're studying medicine currently. I
think that's enough to be going on with, don't you?" Sherlock
asked an astonished John. He turned to leave, then looked over
his shoulder. "The name's Sherlock Holmes and the room number is
221, level B. Morning," and with that he strode away, leaving
John standing there, shocked.
"Yeah," Mike said, a small smile on his face.
"He's always like that."

"A bit of both! Sometimes it's fun to explore new
concepts in Science Fiction. I especially like the books and
stories that make me think. Historical fiction is nice because
it's a bit more realistic, since I find so many little
scientifical faults in Science fiction, but that's part of the
fun!" Hermione discussed excitedly, her life coming back. She
didn't feel so alone anymore.
