Zelda sighed, "I'm sorry I just....never mind..." Zelda could
see that Link was very resistant about his father. She crossed
her arms and walked over to the couch with her head down
thinking about how she shouldn't push the subject on Link if she
wanted to keep him.

Link put his hand on her shoulder. "Zelda, I'm sorry. It's just
something I'm not ready to talk about right now. How about
later, when I'm ready?"

Zelda nodded but still felt strongly about the whole thing. She
could hear him walking back to the kitchen, "does he hurt you?"
She heard his footsteps stop, "I just....I don't want you going
back there if he is hurting you..."

Link chuckled, this time genuinely. "No, he wouldn't lay a
finger on me. He just passes out. All the time." the last part
was said with bitterness.

(CHEESY WARNING! Seriously it's bad hahaha. xD)
Zelda got up to comfort Link but she could see that he was
resistant, "I want to show you something" she took his hand and
led him up the stairs hoping to get his mind off of the whole
situation. They entered her room and she ordered him to shut the
door as she went to her drawers and pulled one of them open and
excitedly looking for something. She pulled out a necklace made
of leather strands with a sword on it (I am horrible at
explaining things >.<) she had made while she was away at
college. "I know it's really early to be giving each other gifts
but I had some free time and even before we started dating I
always saw you as my knight in shining armor...."
There was a slight silence what the hell did I just say?! She
rushed more words in "I made one for myself as well, it's what
my great great grandfather called a 'triforce' he would always
talk about the legendary hero and Hylia which is where my
interest grew in the ancient city and why I decided to major in
history...."she explained as she tried to fill the silence.

Hermione grinned, her eyes shining, "Sounds like
a plan," she said warmly, and Aang smiled, nodding. Hermione
glanced up at the clock. "The bell's gonna be ringing soon," she
said, putting her book back in her over-stuffed bag. Aang looked
slightly disappointed, but nodded. "See you in third period?" he
half asked, half said. "I'm always there," Hermione said,
semi-scornful, semi-playful. The two then got up and left to go
to their lockers.

Link blushed. Her knight in shining armor, huh? I guess I have a
lot to live up to... he remembered the stories of Hylia and the
legendary hero all too well. It was what gave Zelda and Merida
the idea for the Knights, anyways. He gave her a big hug. "I'll
do my best to protect you..." and then his eyes fell on the
clock. "...right after I run to get to my first class on time!"
he ended as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and quickly put the
necklace on, tucking it into the front of his shirt and patting
it over his heart. "See you later!"
Padme sighed. She was lucky enough to have first period off, but
it would be nice to have friends like the brown haired girl did.
Her eyes cast back down to her work and she finished up the last
of her notes. As the two left the library, she put the book back
on the shelf and found another, this one on which herbs to use
to create a quick stun. She grinned slyly as she took it off the
shelf. Sherlock and John were going to have quite a bit of
trouble fulfilling their excercises, she thought to herself.

John ran back up the stairs, after having
breakfast and changing in the bathroom. Looking at the alarm
clock next to his bed, he exclaimed, "See!? I told you we were
gonna be late! We're gonna have to run to class now!" he
groaned, grabbing his backpack and glaring at Sherlock. Sherlock
shrugged, "I was the one who woke you up," he said coolly, and
John made a frustrated sound. "Just, come on!"
