John stood nervously at his side, ready to pull
Sherlock out of the way if need be. Sherlock looked Fakir in the
eye, happy to explain... and elaborate. "You were adopted,
obvious from you're demeanor and such, attitude, etccetra"
Sherlock scrutinized him for a moment, "Yes... you're parents
were brutally murdered. And now you're seeking retribution."
Sherlock said, an excited gleam in his eye.

Link was starting to see that there may be some issues...he
unwillingly tore his focus away from Zelda and caught Merida's
eye. She could see trouble brewing as well. The two made their
way to Fakir and Sherlock, trying their best to break up the
two.

Fakir saw red. Before he knew it, Sherlock was on the ground,
his cheek getting puffed up. Fakir was shocked, but instead of
stopping, he kicked the fool. "You. Know. Nothing," he hissed.
"Don't you ever come here again."
Then and there, Fakir decided to make their tasks undo-able.

John reacted as quickly as he could. He pushed Sherlock
to the ground, getting him out of the way. He had a good mind to
punch him too. He really did deserve it. The boy kicked him, but
John got between them before anymore damage could be done. He
was scared, but he didn't care. He wasn't going to let Sherlock
get beaten up... completely. "Hey, hey, that's enough," he told
the green-eyed guy, putting a hand on his chest cautiously. The
dark-haired guy was seething, "He doesn't know what he was
saying," he kicked Sherlock gently to let him know, "Don't you
dare say anything," "He just got carried away. He does that. He
might have even been hoping to help. He just doesn't know how to
voice it." John glared at Sherlock, and addressed him, "You
idiot, Sherlock! Don't you have an ounce of tact!?" John was
angry. Why did Sherlock always have to get into trouble!? John
didn't even want to count how many times he'd saved Sherlock's
neck this week. People were always looking to beat him up...
Then again, he didn't want to count how many times Sherlock had
saved him, seeing as people didn't exactly like John for showing
up so many bullies Sherlock had angered.
Sherlock stood up, massaging his jaw. John was about to
stomp on his foot and hiss at him to apologize, and that he
deserved it, but Sherlock surprised him, "Sorry," he mumbled
around his jaw, looking earnestly at the other boy. John's
eyebrows shot up. He'd never heard Sherlock apologize to someone
without John telling him to... except to Molly.

Link gave Merida an uneasy look. He had a feeling that the two
newcomers had an almost impossible chance of joining if Fakir
had his way. "What do we do?" He whispered to her.
Padme raised an eyebrow. Looks like someone had gotten hurt...
She walked slowly over as Sherlock was getting off the ground
and produced a cold compress from a pouch on her utility belt.
With her mother being an ER nurse, she was always prepared for
anything. "Here, hold still," she said softly, gingerly applying
the compress to Sherlock's swollen jaw. He put his hand over
hers and she let go, allowing him to hold the compress himself.
"Keep that on for a good while." She looked back to Fakir. "May
I see your hand?"

John sidled over to the dark-haired guy while
Sherlock was preoccupied with Padme and the compress pack, "Hey,
look," he turned his burning green eyes on him, "Sherlock...
pretty much never apoligizes to anyone... So I think he really
means it. He probably just wanted to help. He doesn't really...
understand people and feelings..." John trailed off and looked
back at the green eyes hopelessly, having a hard time
explaining... Sherlock. Padme came back over to them, and John
slipped back over to Sherlock, casting the other guy an, "I'm
sorry," sympathetic look. He watched Padme, and glanced at
Sherlock's compress. He raised and eyebrow approvingly. He'd
done some studies of medicine and care himself. He was mildly
impressed. She knew what she was doing, but it wasn't too
difficult a task.

Fakir thought he understood. He was known to do similar things,
but he never never poked on someone's family.
He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice Padme
till she held out her hand. "I'm fine," he answered, walking
away. He needed time alone. He ended up near the lake. He
whistled. Maybe Ahiru was here somewhere...

Padme didn't take Fakir's attitude personally. She simply
shrugged and said goodbye to the group, then headed out to walk
home.

John watched the other guy watch away nervously,
though he thought he might look less angry...
Sherlock looked at John, amused, "Don't worry."
He said to John in an undertone, glancing at the other, whose
black ponytail faced them. "He gets it" Sherlock smirked, "As
well as he can."
John rolled his eyes, slightly annoyed. Sherlock was
so c-ocky.

Edmund smiled. "Well that was fun," he said, earning looks from
the rest of his present friends. "Well it was. And for the
record, we won. Hands down."

Belle wasn't quite sure what to do, so she walked over to
Sherlock and John. "Hello," she said, introducing herself.
