Zelda was shocked that she knew about Link already, she didn't
remember ever telling her about what had happened. Then again
Link is in her group so word must have gotten out at some point
she thought. Nevertheless she replied quickly to her little
sister, "don't lay a finger on him!....especially his face....I
like his face:P"

Zelda turned her head at the sound of the door knob turning to
see her mom walk through the door, "Mom!!!" Zelda exclaimed as
she ran over to give her a big hug trying not to knock the
groceries out of her arms.
They spoke for awhile in the kitchen about Zelda's experiences
in college so far and how excited she was for all of her
classes. Her mother took a quick look around, "where's Merida"
Zelda gave her a look of sarcasm , " where else would she be"

Merida looked at the two others staring up at her. Edmund was a
very talented swordsmen, but Fakir was better. Once you started
throwing in variables, their postions could change - but this
was Fakir's terf.
But she would not lose so easily!
"Okay, here's the plan. Duck. You don't know how battle royal
works. Basically we "kill" each other. Any weapons are allowed
as long as they are blunted. You will get bruised. Play
honestly. If you get knocked out, your out. You will not be able
to go head-to-head battle. You are just not ready. I'm going to
have you sneak into "their" territory. Climb in the trees, hide
under bushes, take cover behind the rocks. Do whatever you have
to. Then strike when you have oppritunity. Your primary target
will be Lucy, she'll stay back from the main fighting. Dont go
until you know they are distracted.
Edmund. You are going to be the blazing onslaught. Get there
attention and keep fighting till the end. Take a sheild, Link
will have his crossbow and boomerang. I'll be covering you.
Maybe we can get them knocked out before Lucy's plan kills us
all.
Questions? Ideas?"

Link and Fakir looked at the young strawberry-blond expectantly.
Link was in charge. Fakir was the best fighter on the team. But
everyone knew Lucy came up with the plans. It made her feel
rather self-conciess.
"We are the stronger team. I think everyone knows it. Fakir this
is your place. We are going to use that to our advantage. But we
musn't get co-cky or Merdia will have our heads." Lucy
shuddered. That girl could be vicious. "We have to stay hidden.
No open out fighting in the clearing. Stay in the trees. Always
have your eyes on at least one of us and two of the enemy. If we
can stay conceled, we can take them out without a problem. We'll
lure them in. Remember to flank. If things get out of control,
I'll be the decoy. When plans change - I'll let you know. Oh!
And don't forget Duck. She may not be much of a threat, but she
could pose more trouble than she appears."

Link nodded and smiled, letting it all soak in. He missed this
more than he cared to admit.
"Well then, let's get this show on the road." He turned to Fakir
to make sure everyone was ready.

Zelda and her mother laughed and talked about her first week of
college for a good while when her mother requested for Zelda to
make dinner tonight.
"Sure thing!" Zelda replied.
"Okay good thank you sweetheart. I'm going to go take a nap and
may be out for the night"
"Mom, it's still really early...is everything okay?" Zelda asked
being curious.
"Just a long day" her mother replied as she slowly worked her
way up the stairs.

Fakir glanced over at the other group. Merida was talking, non
animatedly so as not to give away their plan. Fakir smirked. It
wasn't hard to guess what any of them were thinking, they'd been
doing this too long. "Use the water to our advantage. It's
harder to move in. Same with the tall grass. Let them come to
you."
"How do you know it will work?" Link asked.
"Because Ed's a hothead and he'll be leading the charge. Chances
are Merida'll put the new girl somewhere safe like going around
the treeline to get behind us. Keep an eye out. She'll be easy
to spot," Fakir answered.

Edmund nodded his head. "Understood. Merida, what will you be
doing?"

answered simply. He raised his sword and rested it on his
shoulder, waiting for the order.
