Link was nervous as all get-out with Zelda there. He tried his
best to show off his skills with a sword in front of her, but
didn't want to look like he was showing off too much..

Zelda smiled at the "skilled swordsman" just hoping he wouldn't
hurt himself.
"I'll be right back" she said to Belle.
Zelda ran up to her little sister and tackled her "hey little
sis don't you think you guys should take a really quick 10
minute break?" she asked while looking at Link.
Merida seemed to protest but Zelda insisted that they did other
wise she would stay sitting on her until they had done so;
Merida caved in. "10 minutes that's all I ask!"

Link smiled, a light blush spreading across his face. He wanted
more than anything in the world to embrace her, but... he tried
his best to discreetly sniff his underarms... that wasn't going
to happen anytime soon.

The pond was perfect. So different and beautiful. Merida
understood why Fakir liked it so much.
They did some basic non-wepon warm ups and exersizes, then they
paired off to do basic sword, dagger, and hand to hand. She kept
having them switch every so often, so they could practice with
everyone.
When there had only been five, it ment you got an occasional
break, but now.
Merida loved it, although Duck was the most challenging as she
had to be taught by the others. But she tried hard and picked up
the movments fast. 'I wonder...'
That's when Zelda had come over, just as it was her turn to beat
up, um, spar with Link.
She didn't want to but eventually she caved and let them rest.

Duck was amsibmal. The weapons didn't feel right in her hands
and she kept tripping. But she always got back up. She did her
best and wouldn't let anything stop her. Even her patheic
attempts at fighting.
"Don't worry. It will come with time," Lucy tried to encourage
her. "I know, I'm terrible with the swords. And don't even let
me tell you when we have to use the guns. But I found I was
proficent with the bow. And that the I'm the best here at the
throwing daggers. You'll find your strength."
"Thanks Lucy."
"Besides, we are suppose to be learning, right? And its your
first day."
Duck was already feeling better and smiled big.
When Merida called break, she went and sat on a rock right next
to the water's edge. She looked up at the sun playing through
the leaves and smiled, sipping on her waterbottle.

During the 10 minute break Zelda just wanted to get everything
off of her chest and tell Link what had happened earlier today.
She headed in his direction.

Link approached Zelda excitedly. "Hey! Why didn't you tell me
you'd be coming home! It's wonderful to see you! I missed you."

Zelda embraced Link she hoped it wouldn't be the last time. She
knew she did nothing wrong but she didn't know Link well enough
to learn if he was the jealous type or not.
She got straight to the point since she only had 10 minutes,
"I've missed you too...I need to tell you about Groose. I wanted
to tell you in person but I want you to hear the whole story
please don't interupt and ask questions because it's going to
sound bad, okay?"

Link's excitement was immediately dampened. He'd seen this
before, and braced himself for the goodbye.

"okay, please just listen. Today after my first class with
Groose he had told my that he respected our relationship and
that he wanted to start over with our friendship and I agreed it
seemed nice like it was a peace offering or something. Well, he
walked me to my dorm and as I began to open the door he leaned
in to kiss me BUT I backed away and he still ended up kissing me
but on the cheek and I told him he had to leave. I'm sure it was
out of friendship though right?? I didn't think anything of it!
I just wanted to tell you instead of keeping it from you and
have you find out some other way..."
Zelda waited for his response not knowing what to expect...

Link smiled. "I understand." He made a mental note to find
Groose and have a talk with him. "As long as he doesn't go too
far or try to hurt you, sweetie."
