Zelda tried to take it all the new information in. She had heard
Dean talk that kind of gibberish but she never understood. "So
because the placing is in 5 weeks I'm considered a Grey? Until
tested that is."

"Yup. A Grey-1. Just like Duck." Lucy trying to explan better to
her.
"I am? Oh right I am!"
"I am Swan-2." Merida said like it didn't matter if she were a
Toad-7. "But in Archery I'm a Dragon." Her blue eyes sparkled
at that.
"Extracurriculars use the same syste. Its used so you practice
and compete with people the same approximete level," Lucy filled
in with the quizicall looks from the other two.
"Oh and I'm a Fox-1. For now. I hope to get bumped in five
weeks."
"Wait. If you're a 1?" Duck was throughly confused.
"I went to a boarding school that used the same system before
this. I'll keep it till the 5 week mark. Then we all get
reevaluated."
"Till then, you're stuck with what you had last year. Except the
number. That changes every year."
Duck's head was realing, but she felt like she might finally be
starting to understand what they were talking about. 'Pike and
Lillie will love this.' The thought was bittersweet.

"Yes." Merida agreed.
Duck just shook her head, looking stricken.
"But its so much more fun than a regular system!" Lucy reminded
them.
"And its proven to drive students to accel more and identify
postivley with their peers." Merida recited in a pompus mocking
tone.

Dean frowned, "are you trying to mess with me? Padme! The
beautiful brunette with the big eyes and amazing smile....she
said that you guys seemed to have well you know, a moment...I
just want to know whether or not you have feelings for her?"
Dean began to blush slightly from embarrassment, the look on
Edmund's face seemed to look like he didn't even know what he
was talking about. Was Padme lying?

"I have spoken with dozens of girls that match that description,
and I remember all their names. I have never spoken with a
Padme," Ed answered simply.

Padme stirred slightly at the sound of the doorknob turning, but
did not wake.
Link rushed to the lunchroom with Belle and caught Dean just as
he was leaving. "Hey, did you beat him up?" he asked as he gave
Dean a light punch on the arm. "Or did you leave any for us?"
