Shifting Chapter 3: Things Get Complicated.

The Summary was removed because it is now a separate topic.
Last Post: An hour after the rejection towards Dean he realized
he needed at least a little closure.. He wrote a simple letter
Padme,
I am sorry for my stupid actions. I thought I had a chance when
clearly I shouldn't have been so forward about it. I won't
confront you like that again, that is if I ever do.

He slid it under her door and went on with his night.
"Really? Maybe there is more to the story..." she thought out
loud.

Belle glanced up to see Padme staring at a piece of paper.
"Padme," she said, "whatcha got there?" When she didn't answer,
Belle said her name again.

Edmund smiled, it was good that Dean was making progress with
that girl. He hoped everything worked out for the better. He
entered the cafeteria, got his food, and spotted his sister
almost immediately. He neared her table, which was partially
full of girls, and said, "It's good to see you've made some
friends, Lu. Not that I was worried you wouldn't."

Padme looked up, and Belle's face came into focus. "Oh, I'm
sorry. It's just...the situation just got more complicated.
First, I know his name. Second..." she handed Belle the paper.
"Dean decided to show very strong feelings toward me..."
Tinkerbell froze as Lucy's brother sat down at the table. Her
cheeks reddened, then she turned to the two red-heads sitting
near her. She slowly nodded in the boy's direction, then turned
to the whole group. Well, I gotta go. Nice talking with you all!
See you later! Then she made a beeline for the door.

Dean finally reached his room and slept longer than he ever had.
He hoped he could just put the whole mess from the night behind
him.
Zelda grew curious when Tinkerbell decided to leave the second
that the brown haired bot who seemed to be related to Lucy
arrived.

Belle gave Padme a questioning look. The brown haired girl took
a deep breath. "I know what I have to do." She told Belle. With
that, she walked swiftly out of the room. Slowly, she made her
way to Dean's door and knocked.

Dean thought he heard a knock at the door but was in such a deep
sleep from moving his little sister in and what happened with
Padme he just didn't want to answer. If they knock again then
I'll answer...maybe he thought to himself comfy under the
covers.

Belle watched as her new friend bolted out the door. Clearly,
she didn't understand. I wanted to know who the boy was so that
I could hit him, not her newfound relationship with this Dean.
Though, if her feelings for Dean grow stronger then she'll be
able to forget all about Boy. Still...

For once, Edmund was at a loss for words. It was rather unusual
for a girl to run from him so quickly, that girl Belle excluded.
Was he giving off some sort of stench that only females could
sense? "What was that about?" he asked. Then he spotted the red
head from earlier and forgot all of his previous concerns about
the pixie. "Oh, hello there. You were the one having a staring
contest with Fakir earlier, weren't you?"

Padme lowered her hand. "Perhaps he isn't here..." she spoke
aloud. Suddenly, there was a thud, and it sounded as though
someone was scrambling to get back up. She heard the lock move
on the other side of the door, and braced herself. She had to
make things right with Dean and explain to him why they couldn't
be together. That, and thank him for his kind actions earlier.
And....well, perhaps talking about that intimate moment could
wait for another day.

expecting her brother to come say her.

Edmund laughed goodnaturedly. "Well, you were staring at each
other intently, and rather angrily. I'd call that a staring
contest. How about you, Lu? How would you define a staring
contest?"
