Tiana smiled at Padme and patted her bandaged wound with comfort
and looked and both Padme and Link, "we'll leave you two alone
to talk."
She took Dean's hand and went over to stand with Merida, "she
will be ready to go in a few minutes" Dean stated.

Padme turned her gaze to the blonde boy appraoching her. "Link,
I-"
"Don't worry about it," he cut her off. "I'd done the same in
your position. No hard feelings."
He smiled at her and she smiled back. "Guess this might be the
last time we see eachother."
"Don't talk like that..." he took her hand in his and gently
helped her stand. "You have nothing to fear- you did nothing
wrong."
Padme smiled up at Link and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you."
The two walked over to the trio waiting for them, Padme's face
becoming as emotionless as possible as her defence mechanisms
kicked in.

Tiana and Dean welcomed them over with a nod and Tiana spoke,
"shall we?"

Merida had exicted the room silently, and no one had notice. Now
she stood guard at the door, waiting for more orders. She had
taken the girl to one of the side chambers that was rarely used,
and as so it had been coated in a thin layer of dust. The
cleaning there happened only once a month. Merida had chosen it
because it had a window to small for a human to fit through, an
easily guarded door, an open hallway, and it was far from any of
the palace exits.
She hoped her replacment would come soon, she wanted to check on
the girl and the princess as soon as she could.

Lucy had regarbed herself and was looking far more firece and
felt alot more useful. The creamy, slighly ruffled blouse; hard
leather vest; tawny trousers; fitted comfy but protected boots;
and dagger at her hip were all so much more practical that the
elegant dress. She left her hair up in its graceful knot - at
least it was out of the way.
When she stepped out into the stone corridor and saw her brother
standing their like an impacient three year old her temper
flared again. No one could rile her up in quite the same way.

Duck was finally starting to things. The refreshment table, the
thrones, the large windows through which the moon was winking at
her, and two human figures. Wait three....
There was the nearest brunenette with brilliant brown eyes in a
simple rose frock who was arguing with a tall dark, green-eyed
man. They both kept shooting worried glances in her direction.
And there in the distance, masked in the shadows was someone who
was obvioulsy a guard. He had pale skin with dark eyes and hair.
He was watching the other man very suspicoulsy.
She did to push herself up. And for the most part, succeded

Edmund would never not be surprised with how long it took a girl
to dress. He'd changed into his clothing - a dark pair of
trousers and a billowing, white shirt, which was exceptionally
easy to move in, should the need arise - in less than ten
minutes, but it took Lucy nearly fifteen. Edmund fingered the
hilt of his sword. "Ready?"

Belle noticed the red head twitch, and stopped her conversation
with Fakir. "Oh great, you're awake," she said, smiling.

Lucy bit her lip irritatedly. She could she the thoughts of her
brother running through his head. It irked her. She never liked
to be thought of somehow less "great", especially if had to do
with her gender. It wasn't her fault that dress was a mamouth
and getting in and out of it was a Herculaian feat.
"Yes"

"Umbe.." Duck mumbled confusidly. She wasn't really sure what
was going on. Then she realized her mouth was so dry she
couldn't even feel her tounge. "Water" she croaked.

Link, Padme, Dean, Tiana and Merida waited for the Prince and
Princess to arrive. When the door flew open and Edmund walked
in, his sword around his waist, Link instinctively sheilded
Padme, fearing for her life. He had finally found love, someone
who appreciated him for himself and his artistic work, and he
wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

Dean stood next to Link to show that he was on his side even
though Dean seemed to be controlling in Link's actions in the
past. Tiana stood behind them and as a friendly gesture she held
Padme's hand for comfort "you're going to be okay" she assured.
She wondered where the princess could be and then she caught
sight of the sword, her heart began to race and she held Padme's
hand tighter.
