Tinkerbell tried her best to hide, but being big and bulky was
taking its toll. She tripped over something and landed flat on
her butt.

Belle didn't know what to do. Edmund was going to leave, and it
was clear that he had no intention of taking her with him. "I
don't want you to get hurt," he said when she protested.
Usually, his words would sound sweet to her ears, but today they
just sounded like excuses. She just wanted to wail at him and
force him to stay, but she knew it would be pointless. Every
day, he relived those days that his sister was with them. He was
transfixed.
A broken man.
This sudden burst of knowledge was the breaking point. Belle
draped her shawl over her shoulders, wrote Ed a short note that
she never expected him to read, and ran out the door. How could
her wish have gone so wrong? She was the opposite of happy. She
was downright miserable. The dark haired girl was swimming in
her own misery when she heard a noise. She leaned toward it and
before she knew it, she was standing before the musician.
"Hello," she said tentatively.

Duck quacked. She looked down at her pale, bare body. She saw a
long red braid and peeiring into the water a tall bouncing
cowlick. Her eyes were the same crystaline blue.
She couldn't believe it. Her dearest wish had come true. She
flexed her toes, wrinkled her nose, stuck out her tounge, and
most exicting of all - picked something up, using her new
obosable thumb. She tested her new body for a good twenty
minutes before realizeing she was completely bare and turned a
vibrant redand jumped into the pool. She had watched enough of
human life to know, bare bodies were not acceptable.
However she found the pound had been a reasonable size when a
duck, barely covered her lower body.
She looked down at the creamy skin, "Like having all my feathers
plucked out."

Tinkerbell looked at the blonde girl standing before her. She
tried to speak, but found she didn't know how.
"Ah....uh....ah...I...." she forced the words out.
"I...n...nEEE...duh..." she motioned to her body and the drapes
around her. The other girl seemed to understand.
Link watched as a beautiful woman approached him. His heart
skipped a beat. "Hello..." he managed. "Who are you?"

Belle was stunned, but she smiled all the same. "My name is
Belle. That was a beautiful song you were playing." She sat down
on the grass close by him.

Fakir woke up slowly that morning. He'd finally gotten to the
end of the dream. "Ahiru..." he breathed. "That's her name." He
rolled over, not wanting to get out of bed.

Link's heart raced away as Belle moved close to him. "Thank
you," he replied. "I'm Link."

Belle couldn't help but notice that the reactions she was
missing this morning came to light when she was around this new
person. "It's very nice to meet you, Link."

Edmund exited the bedroom and saw a piece of paper on the table.
He picked it up and smiled when he saw Belle's familiar
handwriting.
Edmund,
I wish you the best of luck on your quest for Lucy. Bring her
home safe. I'll be waiting.

that you're a hard person to forget, pointed ears and all," she
giggled.
