One Wish ~ Chapter 1: Deepest Desires

Zelda finished getting ready for bed when she heard her phone
buzz. Picking up her cell she could see from the cover it was
from her boyfriend her heart would always flutter whenever he
would text her out of nowhere. Quickly flipping it open she read
the text:
Soooo......I like you and everything but I think we need a
little break from each other....k?
Her face palmed, "wow. He'll be lucky if I ever speak to him
again..." she said to herself. She threw the phone back on her
bed carelessly really? Over text? And that wasn't even a good
way to break up even if it was in person!
She walked out to her balcony and looked up at the sky. It was a
gorgeous night nothing in the sky but stars. She could feel
everyone in the village looking at the beautiful space above
them. There was suddenly a huge bright shooting star that flew a
great distance and once again she felt that she wasn't the only
one seeing the magic before her. Zelda closed her eyes and
brought her face up to the sky and merely said, "true love."

Duck looked up from her pond staring at the startling night sky.
Loveing the way stars sparkled. She wished she could fly, so as
to careen through the gittlering heavens. But ducklings can't
get very high or very far, so she contented herself with staring
up at them in awe.
Suddenly a brilliant comet wizzed by, right over head. She knew
that humans wished upon shooting stars, and decided to try it
herself. "I wish...I wish I could be a human girl so I can find
[i]him." [/i]

Link watched the young, blonde girl approach her balcony. He
tried his best to stay unseen in a nearby tree. When she came
closer, he saw her face. Every time he saw her, his heart would
flutter and butterflies would fill his stomach. She looked up to
the sky, and his gaze followed hers. A shooting star flew out of
nowhere, and startled him so terribly that he fell out of the
tree. The blonde girl looked down, startled, and he tried his
best to scurry away. Unfortunately, his brain wasn't getting
through to his body, and he just sat there, paralyzed by her
gaze.

Belle and Edmund sat side by side, looking up at the stars, when
one suddenly flamed across the night sky. "What do you wish
for?" she asked.
"If I tell you, it won't come true," he replied.

Merida was standing on a cliff overlooking the little village .
The wind blew her hair and dress gently and the light from the
moon cast deep shadown on her face. The effect was quite
dramatic. Her mind was lost in though.
When the silver star rocketed past her drawing her from her
reveire. She didnt' wish on stars. It was silly and pointless.
But she was so desperate..."To be free."

Fakir glanced up from sharpening his sword to see the shooting
star. He'd been thinking of the odd dreams he'd been having
lately, of a dancing swan. He often dreamt of dancing with her,
so when he saw the star shoot across the sky like an arrow, he
knew exactly what to wish for.
To know her name.

(oooh you guys just to keep track, on your character profiles
you should state what your wish was!!)
Zelda hoped with all of her heart for the best and for her wish
to come true but she knew she would have to put effort into it.
In the middle of her thoughts she heard a thump from below. She
looked down to see Link on the ground looking a little dazzed.
Worried that something may have happened to him she ran
downstairs and outside to where he was. However, when she made
it outside he was gone...
I guess he was okay...

Lucy had almost missed the glittering star. She had been too
busy cleaning the dishes and covering for her sister. She
promised Merida a few minutes alone to think, she knew she
needed them.
But she looked out the window and saw the star, just in time.
She closed her eyes trying to think of a wish, but her brain was
waring. Her own selfish desires verses the hope for her sister
and dearst friend.
To find someone who will love me completely.
For her to be happy.
To be the most beautiful.
Her efforts desovled. That was three wishes, two of them very
selfish. Even if the magic was real, there was no way all of
them could come true and they had been so jumbled...

Edmund sat back and thought about his sister, the one that had
been stolen from her room before she could even stand on her
own. He knew what her name was, and for the upteenth time, he
wondered if she knew as well. He wondered who had taken her and
why? What could they possibly gain?
Edmund considered changing his wish, but decided against it. He
still just wanted to know Lucy and the type of person that she
had become. Was she kind or cruel? A warrior or a poet? Dark
haired or light haired? He sighed, and Belle grasped his hand.

Tinkerbell humphed, sitting in her favorite tree. She had just
been in a terrible fight with her boyfriend- a fairy, like
herself. Why did Terrance have to be that way, anyways? As she
looked up to the sky, her heart reached out and she felt she
could practically touch the stars. All of a sudden, a bright
light shot across the sky. She closed her eyes.
To be human.
Link watched Zelda as she walked back to her room. He sighed.
Why wouldn't his legs work when he wanted them to? Well, at
least he had caught sight of the shooting star- and there was
only one thing on his mind.
For her to feel the same.
