first place. "The murder... Was it you, or were you really
framed? Don't you even think about lying to me," he said,
getting as close to the witch as he could, then he dropped his
voice to a whisper so that only she could hear. "It all my years
on the streets, I saw many ways to torture people without
killing them. Perhaps you'd feel experiencing one of these would
be preferable to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the
truth. Do you understand?"
