Padme turned around at the dark-haired boy and smirked. "I
figured as much," she replied cooly. "I'd love to join you, but
I just remembered that my mom is getting of work early and wants
me to make some dinner for when she gets home. I'd better sit
this one out. See you guys at school tomorrow."

Zelda and Belle finally reached the laundry room, "thanks so
much! I'll stop bothering you now I guess" she said as she
loaded her laundry into the machine and inserting her quarters.

They finally made it to the car. Merida was there first, of
course. But Duck was a close second. Merida smiled at her,
impressed. It didn't take long for the rest of the group to make
it there and they all piled in. Merida was reallly glad she had
brought her Mom's van.
"Where's Padmae?" Duck asked.

her car and texted her mom, "already feeling a little homesick.

Belle shook her head at the blond. "You weren't a bother at all.
Care for some company?"

Edmund shrugged. "She must've gotten angry over something I did,
so she's not coming today."
"How observant, Ed," Fakir jibbed. "It's good to know that you
know you did something wrong." He turned back to the rest of the
group. "She said her mom needed her or something."
