"If you say so..." she told the table in mock belief. "But I'm
still confident that you cannot spend 80% of your time in on
place when you are spending 66 of it eleswhere." She knew full
well he was profiecent at math, but his blunder was too much fun
to let go.

Duck was rivited. The back and forth between the two was
extrodinary. She couldn't help but feel adimration for both.

Fakir leaned forward. "Very well, challenge accepted," he
replied, smiling. "Good luck."
As fortune would have it, the bell rang just then. Fakir dragged
Edmund away from the conversation he was having with the
brunette, which seemed very cut and dry, and pulled him along to
their shared computer class. His book smacked comfortably
against his leg. There was no way one of those wild red heads
was going to get his book, or the stories within.

Merida grinned. She had won. This round at least. He had been
forced into accepting her challenge. She loved it! She laughed
as she deposited her tray as she went to English, Duck and Lucy
retreating to science.
The next round would be up to her brothers, but she had a card
up her sleeve and knew they could get that book!

Duck gaped. And Lucy giggled. "Wow. That was - wow." She just
couldn't believe how well you could fight with words. It had
been amazing.
"We all do it." Lucy said and Duck looked at her questionally.
"Banter I mean. Use our words and wit to create battles. Merida
is a fan of all types of combat. She says we need to be able to
defend ourselves from any attack. Fakir and Edmund are really
good at, Link and I, well..."
Duck kept asking about it, until Lucy finally broke down and
started teaching her the basics she learned from her brother and
Merida.

Fakir knew that he'd been dooped. No matter; he'd win the next
round. There was no way he'd let them get their hands on his
book.
Edmund however, was fine. He father enjoyed his conversation
with Padme. He'd catch her after school and invite her to
training.

Zelda was slightly embarrased that Belle had most likely had
seen the whole dramatic scene last night. "Everything did work
out for the better I guess you could say...I'm just sorry it
wasn't a very good impression."

being in the wrong place at the wrong time and all."

The last two periods of the day just seemed to fly by. Edmund
was walking to his locker when he spotted Padme and called out
to her. "Hey, you doing anything this afternoon?" he asked.

"It's not your fault at all! There was a just a mix of emotions
that night...what were all those papers though?" Zelda mentioned
trying to keep up the conversation, she never really do well in
new enviorments.
