Merida's eyes grew wide at the challenge. "Oh really??" she
scoffed. "I seem to remeber them besting you several times. The
math project, the cat, the chocolate foutain." All were times
when the triplets had gotten up to their misctihve and rained
chaos down on the Black Knight, and those were just the worst.
By this point the rest of the table had gone silent and were
simply sitting back, and enjoying the show.

Fakir smirked. "Ahhh, you see, those things mean nothing to me.
Particularly the math project. I also remember besting them when
they tried sneaking into my yard a few years ago, and every time
since." His mind took that moment to revert back to memory lane.
He recalled the one of the last times the triplets had attempted
to see his back yard. He'd been talking with Ente, and he
noticed her tense, so he went to see what was happening. He
spotted the their red hair easily in all the greenery, but what
surprised him was the way they came barreling out, Ente on their
heels. Fakir smiled at the memory.

(Yup! I love how its straight out of the promo! So what book are
you reading? If its not The Hobbit?)
"So they can't get to you in your yard." That was one of the
few ways the triplets could be stopped. "You know full well
there's alot more to your day than that."

"Not much," he replied. "I do spent 80% of my time there, after
all. The rest of it I pretty much spend here or doing homework
in the house." Fakir grimmaced. He hated being indoors.

sleep alone takes up 2/3 of your day. Or 66%." It was amazing
what she could retain when she needed to.

(Me too. The book is really different from it's Disney
counterpart, but both are amazing, as far as I'm concerned. Did
you know that the author also wrote the Princess Diaries?)
"I eat my meals at the pond," he added. "Anyway, I feel that
anything after middle school math is pointless, unless you plan
on being an engineer or something similar, which, I don't."

spread across her face.
"Of course," she said in a condesing tone. "You just need to
know the basics like percentages for things like I don't know,
buying things."

"A skill learned in elementary, then again in middle school," he
shot back, knowing that his last comeback was lacking. This was
probably the most talking he'd done in ages, and he was enjoying
every second of it, even if he was being made a fool of. But
hey, if you couldn't be a fool in front of your friends, then
you could you be a fool around?

"Yet you still can't seem to grasp the conept of them." Merida
loved bantering like this. It was something her family had been
doing for years. It made her sad for a moment, her mother use to
be the best but she had stoped playing and eventually the
tradition had died. Still destroying Fakir would be its own
reward.
