Duck had been too caught up in Merida's exicment. She hadn't
made the connection. They were going to Fakir's pond. The pond.
A smal "qua-" burst from her mouth, but she stiffled it in time.
How was she going to act like she had never before seen the
place that was like a home to her?
"Maybe I should just back out, cancel... I'm sure I could up
with some excuse. - NO! If I'm gonna be a Knight I have to be
there! And I have to act like one, too! That means facing my
fears and obstacles!" "Alright then!" she exclaimed out loud,
her fist held passionatly up in front of her face.
Needless, to say she recieved many strange looks from the others
at the table.
"Duck?" inquired Lucy.
"Nothing!" the duckish girl said hasitly and tucked into her
food. She could swear she heard the tittering giggles of Pique
and Lilliay, enjoying her outburst and the other's subsquent
expressions.

Link walked over to the table sheepishly, and sat down by Fakir.
He had yet to come up with an excuse as to why he couldn't make
practice, so he'd have to just tell Merida the truth.
Padme searched the lunchroom for a place to sit. "this is always
the worst part of a new school..." she mumbled under her breath.
She finally found a vacant table by the red haired girl from
class and her friends. Padme sat down and began eating slowly,
head down, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

Zelda was roaming the halls with a basket full of laundry
looking for a washing machine of some sort when she ran into
Belle once again. "Hey! I'm so sorry about that whole episode
you may have witnessed the other night," she said as she bit her
lip.

Link tried his best to avoid Merida's gaze. As long as she
didn't ask him anything in front of everyone, he should be
fine....
Padme looked over to the table when she heard an outburst, and
locked eyes yet again with the red haired girl. This time she
held the gaze a bit longer and sat up straighter, trying her
best to show that she wasn't afraid of this obviously popular
girl.

The brunette from earlier was looking at her again.
Although, this time she had a resonable excuse. Miss Duck had
caused quite a comotion, although Lucy who had classes with her
seemed mostly unpreturbed. Probably a common occurance with the
strange girl.
They locked gaze this time, and the girl seemed to be staring
her down. Not so much in a confitational way but in a defiant
way. As if to say, "You can't scare me!" Although Merida had
about zero idea why she'd be scared of her, of course if she had
seen Merida fight - then she might understand. The only
explantion was money, and being new she hadn't gotten the memo -
"The money stays out of it. Period."
Merida returned the expression with the most miniscule of nods
and a slight smile. She would not be beaten down, but she
wouldn't beat others.
She turned back to the group to hear Lucy saying "It would
define us. Give us more unity, I guess. Ed's alrighty though of
a few."
Merida didn't know what Lucy had been saying, but from the
things Edmund rattled off, she guessed it was a name for their
little ontrage.

Padme raised an eyebrow as the redhead turned away. What was the
smile for? Was it genuine kindness, or mocking? Perhaps she
would be able to befriend the red haired girl and join her
group. She had never had that many friends at one time- this
could be exciting!
Link thought for a moment. "Does it have to be 'knights'? Can we
be like 'The Valiant Warriors' or something?"

Lucy bit her lip and furrled her eyebrows. "Well, I don't
know...." she replied. "We already call ourselves 'The Knights'
it would be a little hard to change so much. We still want to be
part of the round table." She hit the table lightly with the
side of her hand for emphasis. They always sat at the round
table at lunch.
Duck was unsure whether she wanted to chime in. She was still so
knew, she wasn't even really a memeber yet - let alone a dubbed
Knight. Still..."And Knights live by a certain code right? You
don't get the impliaction of" she paused, embarssed, "chivalry
and honor with..Warriors"

he thought some more, but could come up with nothing in the way
of a name.
