Belle sat on the soft grass, smiling shyly. "What where you
playing?" she asked, wrapping her arms around her legs.
_________
Edmund smiled disarmingly. "Well, you are my friend, so I'd like
to think that this is my business. After all, we don't need you
to doing something stupid again."
Fakir turned to his friend angrily. "I don't do anything
stupid," he insisted.
"Skipping class, collecting knives, having a staring contest
with a stranger," he counted, then he turned to Duck."No offense
intended," he said, smile still in place. "I'm Edmund, by the
way. And you are?"
Fakir glared at his friend and ground his teeth. "Who cares?" he
growled.

Merida gasped. The words from the little fairy seemed to be
echoing in her head, and not resounding through her ears. It was
amazing. The tinkling bell seemed to be her form of
commiunication. It was astounding. In fact, it was so amazing,
it sent the red-head realing and she, therefore, was unable to
anwser. Thankfully, Lucy came to her aid, "Of course its not a
problem, we all live together now don't we?" she said with a
big, friendly smile, "I'm Lucy and this," she said gestering to
the other, "is Merida"
"How come you need a whole dorm room if your so small?" Merida
asked, "Couldn't more sizely accomidations be made? Its so big
for someone so...tiny." Merida had never really mastered the art
of tact, much to her mother's dismay and it was evident in the
blunt way she asked her question.

Duck had finally recovered from her embarsment. She turned to
Edmund, and noted he was cute. Not her type and nothing like her
crush back home, but nevertheless - cute. She smiled her big
signature Duck smile and saw his eyes twinkle with...something.
"I'm Duck!" she said thrusting out her hand, then with a pause,
"Edmund is a really cool name." Her brilliant blue eyes were
bright and sincere. She could feel the dark boy standing there
irritably but chose to ignore him completly.

Edmund was amused by this girl's actions. She was just
incredibly clumsy. No wonder she had irritated Fakir. He grasped
her outstretched had. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Duck. I hope
that we have some classes together. For now, I need to get Fakir
back to our room before he implodes." He smiled one last time
and pushed his friend toward the boy's dorms.

Duck smiled jubliantly and nodded to Edmund as he took his mean
friend away. He had a very regal manner about him and she
deciede she liked him.
Then she skipped of to the dorm building to find her room.
Unfortatnetly, to her it was a giant maze and she got lost
imediatly.

Fakir swung around. "What the hel* were you thinking?"
"I was thinking that it wouldn't do to be rude. You might not
mind having every female on campus plotting to kill you, but I
would rather stay on their good side."
"By pretending to be chivilrous?"
"Exactly," Edmund said. "Though, it's not an act."
Fakir huffed. "Not an act? Are you kidding me? You never show
emotion to anyone but girls. You're the most manipulative person
I know."
"Boys are usually easy to understand. Girls, however, are
harder. Their emotions fluxuate so quickly. It's rather amazing
they don't blow themselves up."

Dean finished taking out all of Zelda's luggage, "is that all of
it" she questioned. He nodded yes and she closed the trunk to
the car they were sharing. "Alright lil' sis, I have been going
here for two years so are you sure you don't want me to show you
around a little bit more?" Zelda could only smile at the nice
things her brother was doing "You have shown me around before
YOU even went here! It's our dream school Dean, don't you think
I know it inside and out by now?" He agreed and smiled, he
picked up her bags and helped her to her new dorm. Once she was
all settled Dean headed for the door, whipped around
dramatically, and had one last piece of advice "if you need
anything I'm the next building over. Text me, call me, or scream
my name and I'll be here okay?" Zelda agreed and promised to
call for him if anything went wrong. Dean added one more rule,
"oh! and no boys!" she could only laugh and closed the door as
she said goodbye to her big brother trying to ignore that last
piece of "advice". It was a brand new place and it would be nice
to start over and meet someone new.

Padme stepped back and hid in the shadow of a nearby pillar. She
couldn't hear very clearly what the three were saying, but she
saw the young man with brown hair shake Duck's hand, and a spark
seemed to fly between them. Padme's face fell. She was about to
turn around and walk away, but something the other young man
said caught her attention.
"By pretending to be chivalrous?"
Her brows furrowed in confusion. She looked over and saw the
other boy- the one she was growing to like - look toward him and
nod. "Exactly."
She just stood there in shock. She couldn't believe what she was
hearing! A manipulative young man...who had already pulled at
her heartstrings. She turned and ran to her room, not wanting to
hear any more.
Link smiled at Belle. "It's....well, a little lullaby
I...heard." he coughed lightly. "It sounds haunting, I know, but
it kind of matches the place, don't you agree?"

Lucy and Merida waited eagrly for their new roommate to anwser,
but before she could they heard a frustrated cry from the hall.
They all raced to the door to see what was wrong.
Out in the corridor lay the girl Merida had met, just eariler,
head smashed against the wall in irritation, wild red braid
flying widly. "Duck?"
The girl looked up.

Tinkerbell flitted over to the clumsy young girl. She found the
place on her head where a bruise was forming, and sprinkled a
tiny bit of pixie dust on it. Slowly but surely the bruise died
down and went away completely. That should do the trick, she
twinkled.
