"Well of course they're asking for me! Its My phone!" "Hello? oh
Hey Link. Make this quick I'm missing Merlin Okay that last
part was a bit of lie, commericals had just come on, you know as
she was saying it. But she had missed some in the whole chaos
with Zelda, thankfully she had caught most of it, and it was
Merlin, so understanding what was going on was easy. Still. She
had finished her essay, couldn't she watch the preimere in
peace?
"Yup. Here I'll put you on speaker so we can talk"
"Oh hey - Zelda. Wanna grab a copy of my essay while you're
here? I need you to proof it please."

"Well, I was just calling to make sure you weren't missing any
of it. Sorry to bother you! See you at school tomorrow."
Link hung up the phone and sighed, laying back on his bed. He
and Merida had been friends for forever, but he couldn't take it
when Zelda entered the picture. She was just so beautiful and
perfect...He had no idea how Merida would react if she knew. Or
Zelda, for that matter.

"Uhh-" The phone had just clicked off. "Doesn't he get that
putting the phone on speaker means we can talk?" Merida muttered
to no one in paticular. Zelda just giggled. She glared at her,
especially seeing as it was probably her fault. Link always
wigged when he was 'around' Zelda. Normally his "secret" crush
was adorable, expect for times like this.
The commericals ended and the show came back on with some
showing clips of sword duel. Which reminded her...she picked up
her phone and started texting.
'Training tommorow after school?' stuck in the "Knights of the
Round Table" contact list and hit send.

Zelda knew that Link was the one on the phone but for some
reason she always got nervous talking to him. Giving the phone
to Merida seemed like the only escape.
As Merida was talking to Link, Zelda looked over Merida's essay.
She saw that her little sister was hypnotized by her t.v. show
so she simply fixed a couple punctuations and grammar errors and
pressed save and print and stapled the essay and put it in a
folder and slapped it on Merida's lap. She took a quick sip of
her soda and another handful of her popcorn "what would you do
without me?" :P

"Thanks," Merida said through a muffled mouth of apple. She took
a swallow of the pop. "I'd live a happy-care-free
no-older-sister's shadow life!" she teased.

Lucy and Edmund were in the family room watching TV. Lucy had
gotten her essay all done, well exepct the last paragrah of
course, she always typed that right before school the day it was
due. She found her scores were never as highother wise. A quirk.
Then Susan came in, headed twoards the kitchen. "Why do you
watch that garbage?" she asked in her pompus, regal voice.
"It's not garbage!" Lucy retorted, "and the exact same reason
you watch that silly soap regliously." Susan just glowered, with
the expression she always wore when someone called it a "soap".
And retreated to her room, a bottle of water in hand.
Ed rolled his eyes.
Lucy's phone went off, sending out a beautiful and eerie wooden
flute tune. She flipped it open and saw the text from Merida.
"I'll be there" she typed. And with a few clicks made sure her
Knights' signature was in: ~*LucytheValiant*~ it read. "Send!"
As she was putting her phone away her brother asked, "What was
that?" "Training." she replied easily. He just nodded and turned
back to the TV. Lucy smikred, figured his was up in his room -
she knew we would probably go reply as soon as the episode was
done. Maybe just next commercail break.

Fakir swung around the trees and emerged nest to the duck pond.
Immediately, he sought out the only company he desired in this
place: a little duck with golden feathers. He called her.
"Ente!"

Edmund's phone was blinking. He opened the message, all ready
knowing what it would say, seeing as Lucy had told him not two
moments ago. Luckily, a commercial had just come on, so he had a
chance to send the response. It was practially a tradition to
text during the commercials when Merlin was on. All of their
group did it. Count me in, he typed. Noticing the signature.
Lucy had stolen his phone one day and added a signature, which
attached itself to every message, but it fit, so he kept it.
Even though his friends teased him about being ^Edmund the Just^
at first.

"QuAcK!" The little bird fluttered up to Fakir happily and
nuzzled into him. She was glad it had only been him - she was
sure someone eles had been around for the past few days,
although she had never seen him. "Its great to see you Fakir."
She tried to commuincate the simple message through quacks,
motions, and expressions.

Merida saw her new texts and smiled. "Great to hear it" she
texted back. Adding her Knight signature, she had just recieved
hers so...she had forgotten. "MeridatheDauntless" At first their
group has just started out just her and Link practicing, well
playing more, at sword fighting. The group had grown and
gathered members so it had half a dozen members all dedicated to
fighting. The styles and weapons had grown accourdingly.
Lucy's nickname for Edmund had inspired the knighting system.
After each member had completed a set of task worthy of Knight,
as well as a task of true greatness and character - the group
Knighted them. Even though she helped start it, Merida had just
recently earned her knighthood.
It brought a smile to her face.
